Abstract

Di tengah kebijakan belajar dari rumah, peran orang tua menjadi sorotan, akan tetapi posisi kolaboratif dengan guru sebagai profesi menjadi sesuatu hal yang baru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan cara dan bentuk orang tua sebagai pendidik agama di rumah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus terhadap orang tua kelas V di SD Alfa Centauri, yang datanya dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama enam bulan, dari bulan september 2021 sampai dengan Februari 2022. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 5 orang, dimana mereka adalah orang tua siswa yang memiliki kemampuan bagus dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam kepada anaknya (Profesional dalam mendidik anaknya). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa bentuk peranan orang tua sebagai pengasuh dan pendidik, sebagai pembimbing, sebagai motivator dan fasilitator dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Untuk metode penyampaian dalam proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Islām yang dilakukan oleh orang tua yakni melalui dialog atau tanya-jawab antara orang tua dan anak, mendesain rumah qur’ani, pendidikan agama di keluarga, pembinaan dan pembiasaan (habituation), keteladanan, pengawasan dari orang tua, metode kisah qur’ani, metode penghargaan dan hukuman serta metode perhatian. Keterbatasan mereka lebih kepada waktu, disiplin anak, serta kontrol terhadap teknologi. Untuk mengatasinya mereka mengoptimalkan komunikasi dengan Guru PAI siswa di sekolah. In the midst of the policy of learning from home, the parent’s role to be the highlight, but the collaborative position with teachers as a profession is something new. Therefore, this study aims to describe the ways and forms of parents as religious educators at home. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design of fifth grade parents at SD Alfa Centauri, whose data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation studies. This research was conducted for six months, from September 2021 to February 2022. The sample in this study amounted to 5 people, where they are parents of students who have good abilities in instilling Islamic values in their children (professionals in educating their children). The results of this study indicate that there are several forms of the role of parents as caregivers and educators, as mentors, as motivators and facilitators in instilling religious values. For the delivery method in the process of internalizing Islamic values carried out by parents, namely through dialogue or question and answer between parents and children, designing qur'anic houses, religious education in the family, coaching and habituation (habituation), exemplary, supervision from parents, the method of the qur'anic story, the method of reward and punishment and the method of attention. Their limitations are more on time, children's discipline, and control over technology. To overcome this, they optimize communication with the PAI teacher of students at school.
