Abstract

Saat ini kekerasan seksual pada anak marak terjadi, bahkan tidak jarang anak sendiri yang menjadi pelaku kekerasan tersebut. Salah satu penyebab masalah ini yaitu kurang tersosialisasikannya pendidikan seksual pada anak karena mayoritas orang tua atau guru di sekolah masih merasa tabu untuk mengenalkannya. Pengenalan pendidikan seksual pada anak usia dini perlu dikemas dengan materi yang sederhana dan cara yang menarik salah satunya dengan menggunakan bantuan media. Sementara di Indonesia kesediaan media pengenalan pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini yang dikemas dengan desain menarik serta memiliki materi pendidikan seksual yang tepat dan lengkap masih sangat terbatas. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti bermaksud mengembangkan media pengenalan pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini melalui media creative card yang dikemas dengan desain menarik serta dilengkapi oleh berbagai tema yang memenuhi indikator pengenalan pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, anak usia dini, dan dua orang ahli ke-PAUD-an. Proses pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan rating scale untuk memvalidasi kelayakan media creative card. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian diproses secara kuantitatif melalui presentase rating scale dan kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil akhir yang didapatkan yaitu berupa hasil akhir prototipe media creative card sebagai media stimulasi pengenalan pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini yang telah teruji validasi kelayakannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media creative card telah sesuai dengan karakteristik media pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini serta kebutuhan guru dalam mengenalkan pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini. ----- Currently, sexual violence against children is surfaced, and it is not uncommon for children to become subject of such violence. One of the causes of this problem is the lack of socialization of sexual education to children because the majority of parents or teachers at school still feel taboo to introduce it. The introduction of sexual education in early childhood needs to be packaged with simple materials and interesting ways, one of them; is by using the help of the media. Meanwhile in Indonesia, the availability of media for the introduction of sexual education for early childhood that is packaged with attractive designs and has appropriate and complete sexual education materials is still very limited. Based on this, the researcher intends to develop a media for the introduction of sexual education for early childhood through creative cards that are packaged with attractive designs and equipped with various themes which meet the indicators for the introduction of sexual education for early childhood. This study uses the Educational Design Research Method by involving the headmaster, teachers, early child, and two PAUD experts. The process of collecting data from this research includes interviews, documentation studies, and rating scales to validate the feasibility of creative card media. The collected data is then processed quantitatively through rating scale percentages and qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The final result obtained is in the form of the final result of a creative card media prototype as a medium for stimulating the introduction of sexual education for early childhood which has been tested for feasibility validation. The results of this study indicate that the creative card media is in accordance with the characteristics of learning media for early childhood and the needs of teachers in introducing sexual education for early childhood.
