Abstract

Membangun karakter di Indonesia telah menjadi agenda nasional yang urgen, sehingga optimaliasi peran pendidikan menjadi suatu keniscayaan, tak terkecuali dengan pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis bagaimana integrasi nilai-nilai Islam di SDIT At-Taqwim mengupayakan untuk membangun karakter siswa. Penelitian ini memilih pendekatan kualitatif deksriptif di mana datanya dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan proses integrasi yang dilakukan terhadap tiga aspek. Pertama, nilai-nilai yang diinternalisasikan terdiri atas aspek aqidah yang mencakup nilai ihsan, yakin, tawakal, syukur, dan ta’zhim. Kedua yaitu aspek ibadah yang meliputi nilai taat, bersih, tertib, dan dermawan. Ketiga aspek akhlak meliputi jujur, hormat, dan santun. Nilai-nilai tersebut diintegrasi melalui metode seperti nyanyian-nyanyian dan ice breaking Islami di dalam pembelajaran, pembiasaan berdoa sebelum melakukan sesuatu, dan metode lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan setiap sekolah dapat mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan menggali nilai dan metodologi yang tepat. Building character in Indonesia has become an urgent national agenda, so that optimizing the role of education is a necessity, including Islamic religious education. This study aims to explore and analyze how the integration of Islamic values at SDIT At-Taqwim seeks to build student character. This study chose a descriptive qualitative approach in which the data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of reduction, display of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the integration process was carried out on three aspects. First, the internalized values consist of aspects of aqidah which include the values of ihsan, confidence, trustworthiness, gratitude, and ta'zhim. The second is the aspect of worship which includes the values of being obedient, clean, orderly, and generous. The three aspects of morality include honesty, respect, and courtesy. These values are integrated through methods such as Islamic songs and ice breaking in learning, the habit of praying before doing something, and other methods. The results of this study recommend that every school can integrate Islamic values by exploring the right values and methodologies.
