Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran IPA berorientasi multimodal pada materi sistem tata surya di kelas VI sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut dilatar belakangi oleh penemuan masalah di lapangan bahwa kurang tersedianya variasi media pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem tata surya. Penelitian desain dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang dilakukan melalui lima tahapan utama, yaitu analysis (analisis masalah), design (perancangan produk), development (pengembangan produk), implementation (implementasi produk), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, pedoman wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Proses pengembangan buku digital ini melibatkan dosen pembimbing dan validator ahli. Hasil penilaian kelayakan buku digital dari ahli materi mendapatkan penilaian dengan persentase 81,13%, ahli bahasa 87,78%, ahli media 99%, serta ahli pedagogik 80,72%. Saran dan masukkan dari dosen pembimbing dan validator ahli dijadikan sebagai acuan untuk revisi produk agar dapat diujicobakan kepada pengguna yaitu guru dan siswa. Hasil respon penggunaan buku digital diperoleh dari guru 100%, dan siswa 89%. Hasil rekapitulasi keseluruhan penilaian dari ahli mendapatkan persentase 87,08% serta dari respon pengguna mendapatkan persentase 95%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli dan respon pengguna, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media buku digital IPA berorientasi multimodal pada materi sistem tata surya di kelas VI sekolah dasar mampu menarik minat siswa untuk belajar karena menyajikan materi dengan beberapa unsur media seperti gambar, audio, video, animasi, dan simulasi virtual sehingga, media buku digital layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA khususnya pada materi sistem tata surya di kelas VI sekolah dasar. ----- This research is a design and development research that aims to produce multimodaloriented science learning media on solar system material in grade VI elementary school. This is motivated by the discovery of problems in the field that there is a lack of variety of learning media, especially in the science subjects of the solar system material. This design and development research uses the ADDIE model which is carried out through five main stages, namely analysis (problem analysis), design (product design), development (product development), implementation (product implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The instruments used are questionnaires, interview guidelines, and observation sheets. The process of developing this digital book involves supervising lecturers and expert validators. The results of the feasibility assessment of digital books from material experts received an assessment with a percentage of 81.13%, linguists 87.78%, media experts 99%, and pedagogic experts 80.72%. Suggestions and input from supervisors and expert validators serve as a reference for product revision so that it can be tested on users, namely teachers and students. The results of the response to the use of digital books were obtained from100% teachers, and 89% students. The results of the overall recapitulation of the expert's assessment get a percentage of 87.08% and from the user's response it gets a percentage of 95%. Based on the results of expert assessments and user responses, it can be concluded that the multimodal-oriented science digital book media on solar system material in grade VI elementary school is able to attract students' interest in learning because it presents material with several media elements such as images, audio, video, animation, and virtual simulations so that digital book media are suitable for use in the science learning process, especially on solar system material in grade VI elementary school.
