    Abstract

    Masalah yang menjadi kajian dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai kinerja
    pengawas. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor-faktor kontribusi kinerja
    pengawas, meliputi rekrutmen, seleksi, dan persepsi peran. Berdasarkan hal
    tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauhmana
    kontribusi rekrutmen, seleksi, dan persepsi peran terhadap kinerja pengawas.
    Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Explanatory Survey Method,
    dengan teknik pengumpulan data angket skala lima kategori Likert, terhadap 91
    orang pengawas sekolah menengah Wilayah 3 Cirebon. Teknik pengolahan data
    yang digunakan adalah Model Analisis Jalur {Path Analysis Models). Teknik ini
    digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung dan tak langsung dari variabel
    eksogen terhadap variabel endogen. Uji signifikansi menggunakan uji-F dan uji-t.
    Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut:
    1. Koefisien jalur dari X| ke Y, sebesar 0.1485. Berdasarkan uji t diperoleh tuning
    sebesar 2,2285. Pada taraf nyata (a) 0,05 diperoleh tubd sebesar 1.9876.
    Dengan demikian proposisi hipotetik yang diajukan diterima Hal ini
    menunjukkan rekrutmen calon pengawas berkontribusi sebesar 5,62% terhadap
    kinerja pengawas.
    2. Koefisien jalur dari X? ke Y, sebesar 0.2279. Berdasarkan uji t diperoleh tuning
    sebesar 2.0300. Pada taraf nyata (a) 0,05 diperoleh ttabci sebesar 1.9876.
    Dengan demikian proposisi hipotetik yang diajukan diterima. Hal ini
    menunjukkan seleksi calon pengawas berkontribusi sebesar 9,71% terhadap
    kinerja pengawas..
    3. Koefisien jalur dari X3 ke Y, sebesar 0.2688. Berdasarkan uji t diperoleh tuning
    sebesar 2.5974. Pada taraf nyata (a) 0.05 diperoleh ttabei sebesar 1.9876. Hal ini
    menunjukkan persepsi peran berkontribusi sebesar 11.53% terhadap kinerja
    pengawas.
    4. Berdasarkan uji F, diperoleh Fining sebesar 10.6463, dan F^i sebesar 2.7094.
    Hal ini menunjukkan rekrutmen, seleksi, dan persepsi peran berkontribusi
    sebesar 26,85%. secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja pengawas. Sisanya
    sebanyak 73,15 % ditentukan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti

    The problem should be able to learn from this research is supervisor
    performance. The substance of this learn focused at the factors that can be
    contribution of supervisor's performance, include recruitment, selection and role of
    perception. According to that case above, the substance solve. Problem in this
    research is how far the influence of recruitment, selection and role of perception
    toward supervisor's performance.
    The methods of research used is Explanatory Survey method, and the
    technique of collecting the questioners date of five categories Likert Scale, toward
    91 Senior High School Supervisor at 3 Area of Cirebon. The date preparation
    technique used to know direct and indirect relationship from exogenous variable to

    decided by another variable that is not correction.
