Abstract

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran
Levels of Inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi
elastisitas. Adanya model pembelajaran Levels of Inquiry membantu siswa
melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis. Maka dari itu penulis ingin menganalisis
model pembelajaran Level of Inquiry antara level Interactive Demonstration
dan level Inquiry Laboratory terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental semu dengan metode
kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 11 di salah satu SMA
Cimahi, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 60 siswa pada dua kelas.
Instrumen yang dipakai menggunakan RPP, Lembar Keterlaksanaan
Pembelajaran dan Lembar Tes Kemampuan Berpikir. Uji yang dilakukan
terhadap penelitian yaitu uji T dan N-Gain, karena syarat untuk melakukan
uji T adalah data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka dilakukan uji
Normalitas dan uji Homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua
langkah pembelajaran tersebut mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berpikir
kritis siswa dengan besar skor 53,81 pada kelas A (berfokus pada Interactive
Demonstration) dan 67,23 pada kelas B (berfokus pada Inquiry Laborator).
Lalu perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas A dengan kelas B dapat diketahui
melalui Uji T yang dilakukan dengan nilai equal variances assumed taraf sig.
(2 tailed) dengan hasil sebesar 0,01<0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini
yaitu terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada A dan B,
namun kedua kelas memiliki perbeaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the Levels of Inquiry
learning model on students' critical thinking ability on elasticity materials.
The existence of the Levels of Inquiry learning model helps students practice
critical thinking skills. Therefore, writer wants to analyze the Level of Inquiry
learning model between the Interactive Demonstration level and the Inquiry
Laboratory level to the critical thinking skills of students. The research
design used is pseudo-experimental with quantitative mode. The study
population was 11th graders at one of Cimahi High Schools, while the sample
in the study was 60 students in two classes. Instruments used RPP, Learning
Implementation Sheet and Thinking Ability Test Sheet. The tests conducted on
the research are the T and N-Gain tests, because the conditions for
conducting the T test are data distributed by l and homogeneous norms, the
Normality test and homogeneity test are carried out. The results showed that
both learning steps experienced an increase in students' critical thinking
skills with a large score of 53.81 in class A (focusing on Interactive
Demonstration) and 67.23 in class B (focusing on the Inquiry Laboratory).
Then the average difference between class A and class B can be known
through the T Test conducted with an equal variances value assumed sig
level. (2 tailed) with a result of 0.01<0.05. The conclusion of this study is
that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills in A and B, but the
two classes have an average difference in critical thinking skills.
