Abstract

ABSTRAK PEMBINAAN NILAI KARAKTER SISWA MELALUI MATA PELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIAH ISLAMIYAH KALIMUKTI PABEDILAN CIREBON Nurwulan Program Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Kampus Daerah Serang, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Hidup di zaman globalisasi menjadi tantangan terbesarnya yaitu kemerosotan nilai karakter setiap individu. Sedangkan karakter merupakan perilaku yang menjadi ciri khas seseorang. Pembentukan karakter tersebut sifatnya seumur hidup. Sehingga Setianingrum (2019: 54) menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan moral penting dibina sejak usia dini baik formal maupun informal, dalam pendidikan formal di setiap mata pelajaran harus memuat nilai karakter agar dapat membantu siswa memiliki dan membiasakan karakter baik dalam kehidupan kesehariannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan mendeskripsikan mengenai proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran akidah akhlak, nilai karakter yang dibina dalam mata pelajaran akidah akhlak, dan implikasi pembelajaran mata pelajaran akidah akhlak terhadap pembinaan nilai karakter siswa kelas 5 MI Islamiyah Kalimukti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus untuk menggali suatu fenomena siswa dalam satu kegiatan, dan mendapatkan hasil mendalam karakter siswa melalui mata pelajaran akidah akhlak. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5, kepala madrasah, dan guru akidah akhlak. Adapun, teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, angket, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran akidah akhlak menjadi proses pembinaan nilai karakter siswa di kelas 5 MI Islamiyah Kalimukti yang di jadwalkan setiap hari senin pukul 13.45-14.30 WIB, dengan 3 tahapan: tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terdapat 12 nilai karakter yang dibina pada mata pelajaran akidah akhlak. Dan adanya implikasi dari mata pelajaran akidah akhlak terhadap pembinaan nilai karakter dilihat dari rekapitulasi angket menghasilkan 93% siswa terindikasi dapat menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya dari apa yang telah dipelajari dalam mata pelajaran akidah akhlak dan 7% lainnya siswa sudah mengetahui, memahami karakter tersebut namun belum bisa menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya dengan baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah mata pelajaran akidah akhlak perlu menggunakan metode yang tepat agar mencapai tujuan pembelajaran sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran yang dapat membina nilai karakter siswa. So Setianingrum (2019: 54) explains that it is important to foster moral education from an early age both formally and informally, in formal education in every subject it must contain character values so that it can help students have and get used to good characters in their daily lives. The purpose of this study is to find out, analyze, and describe the learning process of moral aqidah subjects, character values that are fostered in moral aqeedah subjects, and the implications of learning morals subjects on character values building for 5th grade students of MI Islamiyah Kalimukti. This research uses a qualitative approach and a case study method to explore a student phenomenon in one activity, and obtain in-depth results of the student's character through the subjects of aqidah morality. The research subjects were grade 5 students, the principal of the madrasa, and the teacher of the moral creed. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used interview techniques, observation, questionnaires, and documentation studies. This study resulted that the learning process of the moral aqidah subjects became the process of building the character values of students in class 5 MI Islamiyah Kalimukti which is scheduled every Monday at 13.45-14.30 WIB, with 3 stages: planning stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 12 character values that are fostered in the subjects of moral aqidah. And the implications of the moral aqidah subjects on character value building seen from the questionnaire recapitulation resulted in 93% of students being indicated to be able to apply it in their daily lives from what has been learned in the moral aqidah subjects and the other 7% students already know, understand these characters but have not been able to apply it in their daily life well. The conclusion of this research is that the subject of moral aqidah needs to use the right method in order to achieve the learning objectives so that it can be used as one of the subjects that can foster student character values.
