Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kompetensi pengetahuan ranah kognitif siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti di salah satu jenjang pendidikan formal yaitu SMPN 1 Cikalongkulon Kabupaten Ciajur Kemampuan siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA cenderung belum maksimal, hal ini dapat terlihat dari kompetensi pengetahuan yaitu hasil belajar siswa yang mana nilai yang diperoleh rata-rata belum mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian mengenai Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Video Motion Graphic 2D. Populasi sampel yang digunakan adalah sekolah SMPN 1 Cikalongkulon Kabupaten Cianjur. Sampel yang digunakan kelas VII G SMPN 1 Cikalongkulon Cianjur. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen desain time series. Untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. antara sebelum pretest dan sesudah posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu test jenis uraian. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji one sample t-tes. Hasil yang diperoleh secara umum terdapat peningkatan dalam Penggunaan Media Motion Graphic 2D terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif. Secara khusus penggunaan Media Video Motion Graphic pada aspek memahami C2 ,menerapkan C3,dan menganalisis C4 terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. The background of the research is done due to the lack of student knowledge competence in science. Based on researcher's preliminary study in SMPN 1 Cikalongkulon, it shows that student knowledge competence has not been optimal due to the evaluation score is not enough to reach minimal criteria. So, there is a research to identify the effect of The Effect of Motion Graphic 2D Video Media. The purpose of the research is to overcome the underlevel competence of student of SMPN 1 Cikalongkulon Kabupaten Cianjur in science. The approachment in this research is done by using quantitative approachment with quasi-experiment method design time series. The instrument used in this study is a description type test in data collection, there are pretest and posttest. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the one sample t-test, the results obtained in general were that there was an influence or increase in the use of motion graphic media on student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. In particular, the use of Video Motion Graphic Media in the aspect of understanding C2, applying C3, and in the aspect of analyzing C4 there is an increase in student learning outcomes.
