Abstract

Disiplin merupakan satu hal penting agar suatu pengajaran dapat mencapai target yang maksimal. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan peran guru sebagai teladan untuk siswanya dalam proses membentuk karakter yang kuat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam membentuk karakter kedisiplinan siswa, untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa, dan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam mengatasi kendala kedisiplinan siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Cipaisan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang guru kelas IV dan lima orang siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 1 Cipaisan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa peran guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Cipaisan adalah ketepatan guru saat datang ke sekolah, tutur kata dan bahasa yang baik dan sopan dan cara berpakaian guru sesuai dengan jadwal dan ketentuan yang berlaku. Faktor pendukung pembentukan karakter kedisiplinan siswa adalah adanya dukungan penuh yang diberikan oleh kepala sekolah, peran aktif yang dilakukan oleh orang tua siswa, kesadaran siswa dan terjalinnya kekompakan antara guru dan juga kepala sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah latar belakang keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi kendala kedisiplinan siswa adalah dengan membangun komunikasi yang baik antara guru, orang tua dan siswa. ----- Discipline is an important thing for an teaching to achieve the maximum target. Therefore it takes the role of teachers as an example to his students in the process of forming a strong character. The purpose of this study is to know the role of teachers in forming student discipline characteristics, to know the supporting factors and inhibitors in the formation of student discipline character, and to know the teacher's efforts in overcoming the conversion of discipline of class IV students at SDN 1 Cipaisan. To achieve that goal, the method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation. Subjects in this study were two classroom IV classes and five students of class IV. This research was conducted in SDN 1 Cipaisan. The results of the study explain that the role of the teacher in forming the discipline of the class of IV class in SDN 1 Cipaisan is the precision of teachers when it comes to school, speech and a good and polite language and the way of giving the teacher according to the schedule and the applicable provisions. Factors Supporting Formation of Student Discipline Characteristics is the full support provided by the principal, the active role performed by the parents of students, student awareness and the coordinating compares between teachers and also the principal. While the inhibitors are the background of the family and the environment of the community. Efforts made in overcoming student constituent construction is to build good communication between teachers, parents and students.
