Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu bagian yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri baik dari dalam (rohani) maupun dari luar (jasmani). Banyaknya problematika pendidikan di Indonesia menyebabkan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan semakin jauh. Salah satu masalahnya yaitu sistem pendidikan yang dipilih lebih banyak mengadopsi sistem pendidikan Barat. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti konsep pendidikan sistem among Ki Hadjar Dewantara sebagai solusi untuk permasalahan yang sedang terjadi di dunia pendidikan saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan sistem among dalam perspektif Ki hadjar Dewantara dan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan PAI di UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif non-interaktif dengan metode library research (studi kepustakaan). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Konsep pendidikan Ki Hadjar Dewantara diartikan sebagai tuntunan dalam hidup tumbuh kembangnya peserta didik; 2) Sistem among adalah sebuah sistem yang digagas oleh putera bangsa yang sarat dengan kearifan lokal dan menjadi khasanah kekayaan bangsa; 3) Konsep Pendidikan Agama Islam di UPI yaitu memberikan landasan pengembangan kepribadian kepada mahasiswa agar menjadi kaum intelektual yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berbudi pekerti luhur, berfikir filosofis, bersikap rasional dan dinamis, berpandangan luas, ikut serta dalam kerjasama antar umat beragama; 4) Implikasi konsep pendidikan Ki Hadjar Dewantara terhadap perkembangan PAI yang ada di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia secara umum berdampak bagi pendidik peserta didik, kurikulum, metode dan media pembelajarannya. Pengembangan sistem among dalam PAI di UPI dapat terlihat melalui Program MKU “Tutorial PAI” seperti dzikir, kuliah duha dan tutoring. Dengan adanya program tersebut, UPI telah mengemong mahasiswany. Diperkuat pula dengan motto UPI yaitu Ilmiah, Edukatif dan Religius. Oleh karena itu, konsep pendidikan Ki Hadjar Dewantara khususnya sistem among perlu di perkenalkan kepada para pemangku kebijakan pendidikan termasuk pemerintah pusat, pendidik dan peserta didik, sehingga dapat mengimplementasikan sistem tersebut dengan baik. Education is a very important part to improve the quality of oneself both from within (spiritual) and from outside (physical). The number of educational problems in Indonesia causes the achievement of educational goals to be further away. One of the problems is that the selected education system adopts more of the Western education system. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining the concept of system education among Ki Hadjar Dewantara as a solution to the problems that are currently happening in the world of education. The purpose of this research is to find out the concept of the Among system education in the perspective of Ki Hadjar Dewantara and its implications for the development of PAI at UPI. This research uses a non-interactive qualitative approach with library research method (library study). The results of this researchers are: 1) Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational concept is defined as a guide in the life of the growth and development of students; 2) The Among system is a system initiated by the sons of the nation which is full of local wisdom and becomes the treasure of the nation's wealth; 3) The concept of Islamic Religious Education at UPI is to provide a basis for personality development for students to become intellectuals who believe and are devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, think philosophically, are rational and dynamic, have broad views, participate in cooperation between people religious; 4) The implications of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational concept on the development of PAI at the Indonesian University of Education in general have an impact on student educators, curriculum, methods and learning media. The development of the Among system in PAI at UPI can be seen through the MKU “PAI Tutorial” Program such as dhikr, duha lectures and tutoring. With this program, UPI has nurtured its students. It is also strengthened by UPI's motto, namely Scientific, Educational and Religious. Therefore, the concept of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's education, especially the Among system, needs to be introduced to education policy makers including the central government, educators and students, so that they can implement the system properly.
