    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas 3 di sekolah dasar dalam berbicara mengungkapkan isi rangkaian gambar cerita. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan model studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 5 orang siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan, satu subjek dengan keterampilan tinggi. Tiga subjek memperoleh hasil tes keterampilan berbicaranya rendah. Satu subjek dengan katagori keterampilan berbicara sangat rendah, sehingga harus lebih diasah lagi kemampuan keterampilan berbicara dengan cara latihan-latihan metode berbicara.

    The study was motivated by low speaking skills in elementary school 3rd graders. The purpose of this study was to find out an overview of speaking skills in 3rd graders in elementary school in speaking reveals the contents of a series of story images. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study model. The subjects of this study were 5 elementary school 3rd graders. The data collection techniques used are tests, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study showed, one sabjek with high skills. Three subjects obtained low speaking skills test results. One subject with the category of speaking skills is very low, so it should be further honed the ability of speaking skills by practicing speaking methods.
