Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil asesmen, keterampilan bina diri anak tunagrahita masih belum optimal, bahkan pada beberapa kasus, ada anak yang telah lulus dari sekolah masih menunjukkan kemampuan bina diri yang belum sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Peran orang tua dalam pengembangan bina diri anak belum optimal. Agar kemampuan bina diri anak optimal, dibutuhkan kolaborasi guru dan orang tua. Peningkatan kemampuan bina diri anak akan efektif jika guru memberikan program bina diri di sekolah, dan orang tua sebagai orang terdekat menindaklanjutinya di rumah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya kolaborasi program latihan bina diri guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ADL bagi anak tunagrahita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods, yaitu menggunakan dua metode penelitian, deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus dan metode kuantitatif dengan Single Subject Research (SSR) desain A-B-A. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa kolaborasi program latihan bina diri guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ADL bagi anak tunagrahita yang diaplikasikan menggunakan media LK-Rum (Lembar Kerja Rumah). LK-Rum tersebut menjadi alat untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi antara guru dan orangtua melalui tahapan pemahaman orangtua, membangun kemampuan orangtua untuk melakukan intervensi pada anak dengan pendampingan dan hingga orangtua melakukan intervensi kepada anak secara mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil peneitian, disimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi program latihan bina diri guru dan orang tua dapat meningkatkan kemampuan ADL bagi anak tunagrahita. Kata Kunci : Kolaborasi, Program Latihan Bina Diri, ADL, Tunagrahita Based on the results of the assessment, the self-development skills of children with intellectual disabilities are still not optimal, even in some cases, there are children who have graduated from school, still showing self-development abilities that are not as expected. The role of parents in the development of children's self-development is still not optimal. In order for children's ability to develop themselves optimally, collaboration between teachers and parents is needed. Improving children's self-development skills will be effective if teachers provide self-development programs at school, and parents as the closest people to children follow up at home. The purpose of this research is the collaboration of self-development training program teachers and parents in improving the ability of activity of daily living for children with intellectual disabilities. This study uses a mixed methods approach, which uses two research methods, descriptive qualitative with case study research design and quantitative methods with Single Subject Research (SSR) A-B-A design. The results of this study are in the form collaboration of self-development training program teachers and parents in improving the ability of activity of daily living for children with intellectual disabilities which are applied using the LK-Rum (Lembar Kerja Rumah) media. The LK-Rum is a tool to increase collaboration between teachers and parents through the stages of understanding parents, building the ability of parents to intervene in children with assistance and until parents intervene to children independently. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the collaboration of self-development training program teachers and parents can improve the Activity of Daily Living ability for children with intellectual disabilities.
