Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Peer Assesment dalam Penilaian Kinerja Siswa pada Kegiatan Praktikum Materi Ciri-ciri Makhluk Hidup”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai penerapan peer assessment pada kegiatan praktikum, mendapatkan informasi mengenai tahap pelaksanaan peer assessment dalam mengungkap kemampuan kinerja siswa pada kegiatan praktikum, serta mendapatkan informasi mengenai kendala dan tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan peer assessment. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Bandung sebanyak 32 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini terdiridari : 1) Lembar peer assessment untuk menilai kinerja siswa, 2) Lembar observer, 3) Angket, dan 4) Wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan kegiatan peer assessment menunjukkankemampuan sangat baik (46,87%), baik (34,37%), dan cukup (18,75%). Kendala yang dihadapi oleh siswa pada saat kegiatan peer assessment adalah hampir setengah (40,62%) siswa merasa kesulitan dalam melaksanakan peer assessment, yang umumnya disebabkan belum terbiasanya siswa dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap kinerja temannya. Selain itu, tanggapan mengenai peer assessment adalah siswa dilibatkan langsung dalam proses penilaian.Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya peer assessment siswa termotivasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajarnya. Kata kunci: Peer assesment, penilaian kinerja, ciri-ciri makhluk hidup ABSTRACT The title of this study is" Implementation of Peer Assessment in Student Performance Assessment in Practice Event Material Characteristics of organisms ". The aim of this study was to obtain information regarding the application of peer assessment on lab activities,to obtain information about the phase of implementation of peer assessment in the performance capabilities of exposing students to practical activities, to obtain information about the constraints and student responses to the application of peer assessment. The study was conducted on 7th class student of SMP Negeri 9 Bandung as many as 32 people. The method of this study is descriptive method . The instrument for this study Consisted of : 1) The peer assessment to assess student performance, 2) The observer, 3) Questionnaire, and 4) Interview. The results of study showed that students' ability to perform activities of peer assessment showed excellent ability (46,87%), good (34,37%), and sufficient (18,75%). The Constraints wich is faced by students during the peer assessment activity is almost half (40.62 %) of students had difficulty in implementing peer assessment, which is generally caused is not unfamiliar student in assessing their friend performance. In addition, the responses of student aboutpeer assessmentis students directly involved in the assessment process. The results of this study can be concluded that the presence of peer assessment, students are motivated to improve their quality of learning.
