Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah konsumsi jajanan kemasan dilakukan oleh siswa di SMPN 3 Poncokusumo Satu Atap. Kompetensi ekologis siswa perlu dikembangkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Masyarakat Tengger memiliki berbagai kearifan lokal sebagai bentuk kompetensi ekologis. Selanjutnya, model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving berbasis kearifan lokal Tengger dipilih untuk mengembangkan kompetensi ekologis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi kearifan lokal masyarakat Tengger yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar IPS untuk mengembangkan kompetensi ekologis siswa, (2) menyusun strategi perencanaan dan mengimplementasikan model Creative Problem Solving berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat Tengger untuk mengembangkan kompetensi ekologis siswa, dan (3) mengukur keberhasilan implementasi model Creative Problem Solving berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat Tengger dalam mengembangkan kompetensi ekologis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan dengan model Spiral dari Kemmis dan Tagart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII di SMPN 3 Pocokusumo Satu Atap yang terdiri dari 12 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus dengan empat kali pertemuan/tindakan pada setiap siklusnya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Tengger memiliki beberapa kearifan lokal terkait dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan, menjaga lingkungan, dan timbal balik ketika masyarakat merusak lingkungan. Jajanan tradisional khas Tengger menjadi salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal yang dipilih sebagai sumber belajar IPS untuk mengembangkan kompetensi ekologis siswa. Berdasarkan 16 indikator, pembelajaran IPS dengan model Creative Problem Solving berbasis kearifan lokal Tengger mampu mengembangkan kompetensi ekologis siswa, baik dalam ranah pengetahuan, sikap, maupun keterampilan. Namun, Jajanan tradisional sebagai wujud kearifan lokal masyarakat Tengger yang digunakan sebagai basis pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini hanya dibuat ketika upacara adat tertentu. Dengan demikian perlu adanya penelitian dan tindakan lebih lanjut agar jajanan tradisional dapat diproduksi secara masal. This research was grounded by a problem of excessive packaged snacks consumption by the students of SMPN 3 Poncokusumo Satu Atap. Therefore, students' ecological competence needs to be developed to overcome the arising problem. Tengger community has various of local wisdoms as a form of ecological competence. Furthermore, the Creative Problem Solving learning model based on Tengger's local wisdom was chosen to develop students' ecological competencies. This study aims to: (1) identify the local wisdom of Tengger community that can be used as a learning source of Social Studies subject to develop the students' ecological competence, (2) develop a planning strategy and implement Creative Problem Solving learning based on local wisdom of Tengger community to develop the students' ecological competence, and (3) measure the success of the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning based on local wisdom of Tengger community in developing the students' ecological competence. An action research design was applied in this study using Spiral model by Kemmis and Targart. This study involved 12 students of class VII of SMPN 3 Pocokusumo Satu Atap as the subjects. It was conducted for three cycles with four meetings/actions on each cycle. The data were collected using in-depth interview, observation, and document study. The results of the study show that the Tenggerese have several local wisdoms related to environmental use, protecting the environment, and reciprocity when people damage the environment. Tengger traditional snacks are a form of local wisdom chosen as a social studies learning resource to develop students' ecological competences. Based on 16 indicators, social studies learning with the Creative Problem Solving model based on Tengger local wisdom is able to develop students' ecological competencies, both in the aspect of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. However, traditional snacks as a form of local wisdom from the Tengger community which are used as the basis for learning in this study are only made during certain traditional ceremonies. Thus, further research and action is needed so that traditional snacks can be mass produced. Keywords: Ecological Competence, Creative Problem Solving, Local Wisdom, Tengger Community.
