Abstract

Siswa sekolah merupakan pondasi awal untuk menjadikan negara Republik Indonesia yang berkualitas aman, tentram dan sejahtera.Grand Theory dalam penelitian adalah Darae dkk (2016) menyatakan keterampilan sosial yang baik akan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan individu dalam bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi bahwa model STAD tepat dalam mengambangkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Alasan dilaksanakannya penelitian ialah proses pembelajaran oleh guru yang menerapkan model konvensional dengan metode ceramah terlihat monoton sehingga terdapat siswa yang mempunyai keterampilan sosial rendah seperti siswa berbicara dengan menggunakan nada yang kecil, siswa hanya berinteraksi dengan kelompoknya saja. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti dengan menggunakan teknik studi literatur memberikan jawaban rumusan masalah yakni model Student Teams Achievement Divisions tepat dalam pengembangan keterampilan sosial siswa. School students are the initial foundation to make the Republic of Indonesia a quality, safe, peaceful and prosperous state.The Grand Theory in the research is Darae et al (2016) which states that good social skills will affect individual success in society. This study aims to provide a solution that the STAD model is appropriate in developing students' social skills. The reasonout the research is that for carryingthe learning process by the teacher who applies the conventional model with the lecture method looks monotonous so that there are students who have low social skills such as students speaking using a small tone, students only interacting with the group. From these problems, researchers using literature study techniques provide answers to the problem formulation, namely themodel Student Teams Achievement Divisions precisely in the development of students' social skills.
