Abstract

----- Evaluation in the world of education is an important factor that can be used as a benchmark for the success of the education process. The teacher as a question maker certainly has to do an analysis of the questions he made to produce quality test questions. This research aims to know the quality of daily test items for fifth grade students in terms of validity, reliability, distinguishing features, and level of difficulty. This research is quantitative descriptive. The object of this study is a daily math test problem with the subject of research is the fifth grade students of SDN Cimanggu I. Data collection techniques were carried out using the documentation method, such as question sheets, answer keys, and student answer sheets. The results showed valid questions were 33 questions or 73%, while invalid questions were 12 questions or 27%. Reliable mathematical evaluation questions with high categories. Distinguishing power, there are 11 questions or 25% have poor differentiation, 24 questions or 53% have sufficient differentiating power, and 9 problems or 22% have good differentiation. The difficulty level is 2 questions or 5% difficult questions, 11 questions or 24% medium questions, and 32 questions or 71% easy questions. Based on the results of the study, the items of mathematics evaluation for fifth grade students were 17 questions or 38% of questions can be saved, 17 questions or 38% of problems are fixed, and 11 questions or 24% of questions are discarded.
