Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi ketertarikan pengelola KSP KEBAL untuk dapat melihat sejauh mana partisipasi dan kemandirian dari masyarakat anggota KSP KEBAL, terlepas dari berbagai prestasi dan penghargaan yang didapat baik tingkat kota maupun provinsi. Koperasi merupakan gerakan ekonomi kerakyatan untuk membangkitkan kembali budaya gotong royong di masyarakat dalam membangun sistem ekonomi, dilakukan secara swadaya dengan tujuan untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat pada umumnya dan anggota pada khususnya. Koperasi berperan dalam rangka pemberdayaan ekonomi masyararakat. Pemberdayaan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi demi terwujudnya kemandirian masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini; (1) Mendeskripsikan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat anggota KSP KEBAL, (2) Mendeskripsikan tingkat kemandirian masyarakat anggota KSP KEBAL, (3) Mengkaji hubungan antara tingkat partisipasi dengan kemandirian masyarakat anggota KSP KEBAL. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 86 orang anggota KSP KEBAL. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment yang diolah melalui SPSS versi 16.0. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: (1) Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat secara umum terdapat 55 orang responden berkategori tinggi dan 31 orang responden berkategori rendah; (2) Tingkat kemandirian masyarakat secara umum terdapat 55 orang responden berkategori tinggi dan 31 orang responden berkategori rendah; (3) Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kemandirian masyarakat anggota KSP KEBAL dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,923. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat partisipasi masyarakat, maka semakin tinggi pula kemandirian masyarakat anggota KSP KEBAL. Kata Kunci : Koperasi, Pemberdayaan, Tingkat Partisipasi, Tingkat Kemandirian This research is motivated by the interest of the KEBAL KSP managers in being able to see the extent of the participation and independence of the members of the KEBAL KSP members, regardless of the various achievements and awards obtained both at the city and provincial levels. Cooperatives are a populist economic movement to revive the culture of mutual cooperation in the community in building an economic system, carried out independently with the aim of welfare of the community in general and members in particular. Cooperatives play a role in empowering the community's economy. Empowerment aims to increase participation for the sake of realizing community independence. The purpose of this research; (1) Describe the level of community participation of KSP KEBAL members, (2) Describe the level of community independence of KSP KEBAL members, (3) Assess the relationship between the level of participation and community independence of KSP KEBAL members. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods, the respondents in this study were 86 members of the KSP KEBAL. Data analysis used Pearson Product Moment correlation test processed through SPSS version 16.0. The results of the study found that: (1) The level of community participation in general, there were 55 respondents in the high category and 31 respondents in the low category; (2) The level of community independence in general, there are 55 respondents in the high category and 31 respondents in the lowest category; (3) The results of the data analysis show that the level of community participation has a significant positive relationship to the level of community independence of KEBAL KSP members and is included in the very strong category. This is evidenced by the correlation value of 0.923. This means that the higher the level of community participation, the higher the independence of the community members of the KSP KEBAL.
