Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar penggunaan storytelling berbantuan film memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen yang desainnya menggunakan pre eksperimen one group pre-test post-test. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Sumedang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar yang berjumlah 33 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis klasifikasi kemampuan berbicara siswa sebelum menggunakan model storytelling berbantuan film berada klasifikasi tingkat baik, sedangkan hasil analisis kemampuan berbicara siswa sesudah menggunakan model storytelling berbantuan film masih berada pada klasifikasi tingkat baik namun ada peningkatan jumlah siswa yang meningkat persentase kemampuan berbicaranya. Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh model storytelling berbantuan film terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the use of film-assisted storytelling has an effect on the speaking skills of grade 4 elementary school students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative research approach with the type of experimental research which design uses one group pre-test post-test pre-experiment. This research was conducted at one of the Sumedang District Elementary Schools. The subjects in this study were all grade 4 elementary school students, totaling 33 people. Data collection methods used are descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. The results of the classification analysis of the students 'speaking ability before using the film-assisted storytelling model were classified as good, while the results of the analysis of the students' speaking ability after using the film-assisted storytelling model were still in the good level classification but there was an increase in the number of students who increased the percentage of their speaking ability. Thus there is an effect of the film-assisted storytelling model on the speaking ability of grade 4 elementary school students
