Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya kinerja arsiparis. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsipan (X) dan kinerja arsiparis (Y). tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana gambaran tingkat pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsipan, bagaimana gambaran tingkat kinerja arsiparis serta adakah pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsipan terhadap kinerja arsiparis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksplanasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model skala likert dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai dengan 5. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 38 orang arsiparis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Dan peneliti menggunakan Grand Theory perilaku organisasi dari Robbins and Judge. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di dapatkan bahwa 1) gambaran tingkat pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsipan dipersepsikan tinggi 2) gambaran tingkat kinerja arsiparis dipersepsikan tinggi 3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsipan terhadap kinerja arsiparis. Hubungan kedua variabel tersebut menempati kategori sedang, yaitu sebesar 0,588. Kemudian, berdasarkan perhitungan analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa kinerja arsiparis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat dipengaruhi pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsipan sebesar 34,6% sedangkan faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja sebesar 65,4%. Dari temuan yang didapatkan penulis memperoleh kesimpulan yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) kearsiapn terhadap kinerja arsiparis di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat This research was conducted at the regional library and archives office of west java province. The focus of the problem in this study is the not optimal performance of archivists. This study consisted of two variables, namely archival education and training of record management (X) and archivist performance (Y). The purpose of this study to analyze how the level of education and training of record management, how to describe the level of archivist performance and whether there was an effect of education and training on archivist performance. The research method used was the explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques used a Likert scale model questionnaire with scores ranging from 1 to 5. The respondents in this study amounted to 38 archivist. Data analysis techniques used simple regression analysis. . And researchers use the Grand Theory organizational behavior from Robbins and Judge. Based on the results of the study found that 1) a description of the level of education and training of high archives, 2) description of the level of high performance archivists, 3) there is a positive and significant effect between education and training of record management on archivist performance. The relationship between these two variables occupies a medium category, which is 0.588. Then, based on simple regression analysis calculations show that the performance of archivists in the Library and Regional Archives of West Java Province is influenced by 34,6% education and training of record management while other factors that affect performance by 65,4%. from the findings obtained, the authors obtain the conclusion that there is a positive and significant an influence between education and training of record managemen on the performance of archivists in the Library and Regional Archives of West Java Province.
