Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Beban Kerja Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Pegawai Bagian Pembinaan SMK Di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat”. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sensus atau penggunaan seluruh populasi di karenakan populasi kurang dari 100 orang, yaitu dengan populasi sebanyak 32 orang. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan dengan perhitungan WMS (Weight Means Score) menunjukkan rata-rata kecenderungan umum untuk variabel Beban Kerja dan variabel Motivasi Kerja berada dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y diperoleh hasil negatif sebesar -0,065 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel X dan variabel Y tidak memiliki korelasi. Hasil uji signifikasi menunjukkan bahwa dengan kaidah pengujian thitung > ttabel -0,358<2,042., maka Ho diterima. Dalam hasil uji determinasi variabel X memberikan kontribusi kepada variabel Y sebesar 4% dan 96% lainnya terdapat pada faktor lain. Selanjutnya adalah hasil uji regresi yang menunjukkan 79,933 + (-0,652)X, artinya bahwa apabila beban kerja meningkat -0,652 maka akan menurunkan motivasi kerja sebesar -0,652. Adapun kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah beban kerja dan motivasi kerja mempunyai pegaruh negatif dengan arah hubungan yang negatif. Hubungan negatif ini menandakan bahwa beban kerja yang semakin tinggi akan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan motivasi kerja pegawai. This research is entitled "The Effect of Workloads on Employee Motivation at the Vocational School Development Section in the West Java Provincial Education Office". The research method used is descriptive and quantitative methods. The sampling technique used in this study is the census technique or the use of a population of more than 100 people, with a population of 32 people. Based on data processing performed by calculating WMS (Weight Mean Score) shows the average general choice for the Workload variable and the Work Motivation variable depends in the high category. The results of the coefficient test between the variable X and Y variable obtained negative results of -0.065 which shows the variable X and Y variables do not have a contribution. The results of the signification test showed the test rules of tcount> ttable -0.358 <2.042. Then Ho was accepted. In the test results of the determination of variable X contributed to the Y variable by 4% and another 96% was another factor. Next is the regression test results that show 79,933 + (-0,652) X, which means that an increase in workload increases -0,652 then it will increase work motivation by -0,652. The conclusion of this study is the workload and work motivation possessed negatively with the direction of negative relationships. This negative relationship indicates that the higher workload will increase employee motivation. Keywords: Workload, Work Motivation.
