Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kegiatan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan berdasarkan observasi proses program pelatihan menunjukan hasil masih cenderung jarang dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran hasil belajar mekanik yang mempunyai latar belakang SMA dan SMK pada program pelatihan teori pemeliharaan preventif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mekanik di PT. Indorama Synthetics Tbk, pada divisi pemintalan benang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriftif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sample yang diambil adalah mekanik pada divisi pemintalan benang yang berjumlah 7 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan alat evaluasi yaitu dengan menggunakan lembar tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan rata-rata pretest berada pada nilai 25.82 dan rata-rata posttest berada pada nilai 58.71, untuk kelompok SMA rata-rata pretest berada pada nilai 29 dan rata-rata postest berada pada nilai 61, kemudian untuk kelompok SMK rata-rata pretest berada pada nilai 24,6 dan rata-rata postest berada pada nilai 56,8. Nilai N-Gain kelas program pelatihan mencapai nilai sebesar 0,45, dimana nilai tersebut termasuk kedalam kategori sedang, untuk kelomok SMA mencapai nilai sebesar 0,42 dan untuk kelompok SMK mencapai nilai sebesar 0,46 kedua kelompok tersebut termasuk kedalam ketagori sedang. Pada hasil penelitian ruang lingkup pemeliharaan preventif menunjukan nilai N-Gain yaitu: Time diriven: 0,49, Predictive: 0,33 dan proactive: 0,48. Untuk kelompok SMA niali N-Gain pada ruang lingkup pemeliharaan preventif berada pada nilai Time diriven: 0,49, Predictive: 0,37 dan proactive: 0,26 kemudian untuk kelompok SMK niali N-Gain pada ruang lingkup pemeliharaan preventif berada pada nilai Time diriven: 0,48, Predictive: 0,32 dan proactive: 0,27. Perhitungan effect size dilakukan untuk mencari ukuran pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar yang dicapai pada program pelatihan dimana nilai menunjukan sebesar 1.71 termasuk kedalam kategori kuat. Perhitungan menggunakan uji-t dilakukan untuk mengatahui perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelomok SMK dan SMA. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pada program pelatihan pemeliharaan preventif secara keseluruhan maupun pada kelompok SMA dan SMK mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar mekanik. ;---This research was conducted based on community service program activities and based on observation the training program process shows that results still tend to be rare. The purpose of this research was to obtain an overview of the learning outcomes of mechanics who have a high school and vocational background in a preventive maintenance theory training program. This research was conducted on mechanics at PT. Indorama Synthetics Tbk, in the yarn spinning division, using descriptive research methods with quantitative approaches. The samples taken were mechanics in the yarn spinning division which numbered 7 people. The data collection technique is does by an evaluation tool, namely by using a written test sheet. The overall results of the research showed that the average pretest was at the value of 25.82 and the average posttest was at the value of 58.71, for the high school group the average pretest is at 29 and the posttest average is at 61, then for the Vocational group the average pretest is at 24.6 and the posttest average is at 56.8. The N-Gain value of training program reaches a value of 0.45, where the value is included in the medium category, for the high school group reaches a value of 0.42 and for the Vocational group reaches a value of 0.46 the two groups belong to the medium category. On the results of the study to scope of preventive maintenance shows the value of N-Gain, that is: Time diriven: 0,49, Predictive: 0,33 and proactive: 0,48. For the high school group the N-Gain in the scope of preventive maintenance is of value time diriven: 0,49, predictive: 0,37 dan proactive: 0,26 then for the Vocational group N-Gain in the scope of preventive maintenance is at value Time diriven: 0,48, Predictive: 0,32 dan proactive: 0,27. The numbered of effect size is done to find a measure of the significant effect on learning outcomes achieved in a training program where the value shows 1.71 included in the strong category. Calculations using the t-test were is done to find out the differences in learning outcomes that were significant between the Vocational group and High School groups. This study can be concluded that learning in the overall preventive maintenance training program as well as in the high school and vocational groups is able to improve mechanical learning outcomes.
