Abstract

Kegiatan marketing promotion yang dilaksanakan di SMKN 2 Subang memiliki jangkauan pasar yang terbatas karena hanya dilakukan dengan penjualan langsung (personal selling) di internal sekolah. Tidak adanya media komunikasi yang dapat diakses pelanggan menyebabkan keberadaan produk teaching factory tidak diketahui, sehingga pangsa pasar dan potensi untuk mendapatkan konsumen dari luar menjadi terbatas. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan dan kelayakan media komunikasi berbasis website untuk pemasaran produk teaching factory. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan metode ADDIE yaitu, (1) Analysis berisi analisis masalah dan kebutuhan, (2) Design berisi perancangan halaman, (3) Development berisi penghimpunan informasi dan pembuatan story board, (4) Implentation berisi perealisasian story board menjadi website menggunakan site builder layanan Wix yang sudah dapat diakses secara online, dan (5) Evaluation berisi kegiatan valiadasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli website dan ahli pemasaran, serta penilaian kelayakan website pemasaran produk teaching factory oleh responden. Hasil validasi ahli website dan ahli pemasaran terhadap media yang dikembangkan memperoleh persetase 98,13% dan 87,5% termasuk kedalam kategori “Layak”. Kemudian media yang dikembangkan direvisi sesuai dengan saran dari ahli website dan ahli pemasaran. Selanjutnya dilakukan penilaian kelayakan media yang dikembangkan oleh responden, hasil kelayakan pada aspek perangkat lunak dan aspek pemasaran memperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 80,08% dan 76,38% termasuk kedalam kategori “Layak”. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komunikasi berbasis website untuk pemasaran produk teaching factory layak untuk digunakan pada kegiatan marketing promotion.----Marketing promotion activity in SMKN 2 Subang has limited market share by personal selling in internal school. SMKN 2 Subang have no communication media that informing customer about teaching factory’s product, caused that market share and potential to reach more other customer is going to limited. Because of that the purposed of this research is to knowing step and feasibility of communication media based on website for teaching factory’s product marketing. Procedure of this research used ADDIE method, that stand for; (1) analysis, contain process of analysis of problem; (2) design, contain process of website page designing; (3) development, contain process of information collecting and story board building; (4) implementation, contain process of realize story board by Wix.com that can access by online, and (5) evaluation, contain validating process by expert judgment of website and marketing, and measuring feasibility of communication media based on website for teaching factory’s product by respondent. The result of validation by expert judgment of website and marketing reach 98,13% and 87,5%. After that communication media based on website for teaching factory’s product marketing revised dependent on suggestion of expert judgment. Next communication media based on website for teaching factory’s evaluated by respondent for figure out the feasibility based on software and marketing aspect. The result is based on software and marketing evaluation reach 80,08% and 76,38% included “Good” categories Overall communication media based on website for teaching factory’s product marketing built in SMKN 2 Subang is good for use in marketing promotion activity.
