Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap naskah drama terutama naskah drama sunda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian terhadap naskah drama masih dianggap langka jika dibandingkan dengan penelitian terhadap karya sastra lain seperti puisi dan novel. Naskah drama Tarung karya Nazarudin Azhar dipilih sebagai objek penelitian. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra dipilih untuk mempermudah pemahaman masyarakat terhadap naskah drama dan pandangan terhadap karya sastra sebagai cerminan dari kehidupan sosial. Di dalam penelitian ini ditemukan sosiologi karya yang merupakan unsur cerita yang mencakup (1) tokoh, peran dan karakter, (2) motif, konflik, peristiwa dan alur, (3) latar dan ruang, (4) tema dan amanat, kemudian unsur naskah drama diantaranya; 4 babak, 11 adegan, 11 dialog, 1 prolog, 1 épilog, tidak ditemukan solilokui dan aside. Sosiologi pengarang yang mencakup status sosial dan ideologi pengarang. Kemudian ditemukan juga sosiologi pembaca karya yang diwakili masarakat sastra yang menerangkan bahwa naskah drama Tarung merupakan naskah yang penuh dengan kritik sosial. Kata kunci: Naskah Drama, Sosiologi Pengarang, Sosiologi Karya, Sosiologi Pembaca. “TARUNG’S” DRAMA MANUSCRIPT BY NAZARUDIN AZHAR (Sociological Aspect of Literature) 1 Agung Apryan .2 ABSTRACT This research is based by less peopels knowledge about drama, especially insundanesse drama. This research is qualitative which use descriptive method. Research about drama rarely found if we compare with another genre of literature, such as poetry and novel. Tarung’s drama manuscipt by Nazarudin Azhar is chosen as the object of this research. Sociological Aspect of Literature used to facilitate people in knowing about drama manuscipt and point of view bellesletters as a reflection of social life. In this research was found the sociology of works is a story element that includes; (1) figure, roles and characters, (2) motives, conflict, events and plot, (3) background and space, (4) themes and massages, then the script element is; 4 half; 11 scene; 11 dialogue;1 prologue; 1 epilogue, with no soliloquy and aside. the sociology of the author, about the author’s background and ideology. Then found the sociology of the readers represented by the community of literary who explained that Tarung’s drama manuscript is a full of social critism.
