Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan di lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 peserta didik cenderung masih rendah. Konsep pembelajaran IPS komprehensif yang sesungguhnya menegaskan bahwa praktik IPS hendaknya mengembangkan dimensi keterampilan belum dapat dilaksanakan sebagaimana mestinya. Hal ini diperkuat oleh temuan penelitian terdahulu bahwa penguasaan aspek keterampilan pada peserta didik cenderung lebih rendah dibanding aspek pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi implementasi model Cooperative Learning dalam pembelajaran IPS terhadap pengembangan keterampilan 4C abad 21 pada diri peserta didik kelas VII SMPN di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson, uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji t parsial. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dari implementasi Cooperative Learning dalam pembelajaran IPS terhadap pengembangan keterampilan 4C peserta didik yang kuat pada pengembangan keterampilan berfikir kritis dan keterampilan berkomunikasi serta pengaruh yang kuat pada pengembangan keterampilan berkolaborasi dan keterampilan kreativitas. Adapun uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji t parsial memperoleh temuan bahwa terdapat kontribusi signifikan dari implementasi Cooperative Learning pada pembelajaran IPS dalam mengembangkan keterampilan 4C peserta didik SMPN di Kota Bandung. Temuan penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa model Cooperative Learning potensial dipraktikan dalam pembelajaran IPS yang berorietasi pada pengembangan keterampilan 4C abad 21. ;---This research is based on reality in the field showing that skill mastery in 21st century toward students tends to low. Learning concept of comprehensive social science actually emphasizes that social science practice should develop dimension of skill that has not been implemented as it should be. It is strengthened by previous study that mastery of skill aspect in students tends to be low than knowledge aspect. This research aimed to know contribution of Cooperative Learning model implementation in Social Studies learning toward skill development 4C 21st Century in students class VII SMPN in Bandung City. Research method used survey with hypothesis test using correlation of Product Moment Pearson,simple linear regression test and t-test partial. The result of analysis showed that there was positive effect from Cooperative Learning implementation in learning Social Studies toward skill development of students 4C that had strong effect in critical thinking skill development, communication skill strong effect in collaboration skill development and creativity skill. Simple linear regression test and t-test partial obtained findings that there was significant contribution from Cooperative Learning implementation in learning Social Science in developing students’ skill 4C SMPN in Bandung city. The findings basically showed that Cooperative Learning model had potential to be practiced in learning social science that was potential in developing skill 4c 21st Century.
