Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Pasundan se-Kota Bandung mengenai pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Studi: Pada Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi Kelas XI IPS di SMA Pasundan se-Kota Bandung). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran kompetensi guru dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Pasundan se-Kota Bandung serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Pasundan se-Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey verifikatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Pasundan se-Kota Bandung, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik Simple Random Sampling, Dengan jumlah 226 siswa. Data kompetensi guru diperoleh dari penyebaran angket yang dilakukan kepada siswa sedangkan data prestasi belajar siswa diperoleh dari teknik dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (Path Analysis) dan pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan program SPSS V.20 for windows. Gambaran kompetensi guru dalam mata pelajaran akuntansi yaitu kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi sosial berada dalam kategori tinggi, kompetensi kepribadian dan profesional berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan gambaran prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS dalam mata pelajaran akuntansi berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menggunakan analisis jalur maka diperoleh gambaran pengaruh kompetensi guru baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi profesional, dan kompetensi sosial positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,0929 atau 9,29%. Sedangkan Pengaruh kompetensi guru secara parsial yaitu kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh negatif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,140 atau 14%, kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,372 atau 37,2%, kompetensi profesional berpengaruh negatif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,367 atau 36,7%, dan kompetensi sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,148 atau 14,8%. Sisanya sebesar 0,825 atau 82,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Guru dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa. Abstract The research made at the SMA Pasundan In Bandung about The Influence Of Teacher Competence Towards Student Achievement (Study: Accounting Lesson In Class XI IPS at SMA Pasundan In Bandung). The purpose of this study was to determine how to describe of teacher competence and student achievement in high school social studies class XI Pasundan In Bandung and to determine of the influence of teacher competencies towards student achievement in high school social studies class XI Pasundan In Bandung. The methods used in this research is survey verification method. This research, the population here is students from class XI Pasundan In Bandung, with the sample used is Simple Random Sampling, with the sample 226 students. The teacher competence data was taken from questionnaire distributing, while student achievement data was taken from documents technique. The data analysis technique is used the analysis of the path (Path Analysis) and processing data using SPSS V.20 for Windows. The research show that the teacher competence in accounting subjects that pedagogical and social competences are in the high category, personality and professional competence are in very high category, while the student achievement of class XI IPS in the subjects of accounting in middle category. Based on the data analysis was done using path analysis the influence of teacher competence descriptions obtained either simultaneously or partial. The influence of pedagogical, personal competence, professional competence, and social competence positively towards student achievement by 0,0929 or 9,29%. While the influence of teacher competence that is partially pedagogical competence negatively influence towards student achievement at 0.140 or 14%, competence personality positive influenve towards student achievement by 0.372 or 37,2%, professional competence negatively influence student achievement at 0.367 or 36,7%, and social competence positive influence influence student achievement at 0.148 or 14,8%. The remaining 0.825 or 82,5% influenced by other factors. Keywords: Teacher Competence and Student Achievement.
