Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menganalisis faktor motivasi apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan pengunjung untuk berkunjung ke The Lodge Maribaya, serta mengidentifikasi faktor motivasi apa saja yang dominan dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pengunjung tersebut. Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian kali ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor. Kemudian teknik mengumpulkan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menyebarkan 100 kuisioner terhadap 100 orang responden di The Lodge Maribaya secara langsung, yang kemudian data tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan teknik analisis faktor. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka telah diketahui bahwa 100 orang responden menyetujui terhadap faktor penarik dan faktor pendorong yang dapat mempengaruhi keputusan berkunjung di The Lodge Maribaya. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor tersebut, didapatkanlah empat faktor baru yaitu, 1) Faktor Personal Desire, 2) Faktor Comfortable Exploration, dan faktor ketiga yaitu 3) Faktor Location and Facility. Faktor Personal Desire yang terdiri dari faktor Self-fulfillment, prestige, Social Interaction, dan Wish Fulfillment menjadi faktor yang paling mendominasi dengan eigenvalue sebesar 2.970.----------In this research, researcher would to analyze which motivational factors that affects visitor’s decision making to visit The Lodge Maribaya, also to identify which are the dominant of motivational factors in terms of the visitor’s decision making. The methode that were researcher used in this research was descriptive methode with a quantitive approach and factor analysis were used as an analysis technique. Then the data that were used are based on distributing 100 quiestionnaiers to 100 respondents in The Lodge Maribaya directly, which later on the datas that has been collected are processed using factor anlysis technique. According to the datas and the research that has been done, then it is known that 100 respondents are agreed that push factor and pull factor are effecting the tourists decisions in The Lodge Maribaya. Based on the factor analysis result, four new factors have been discoverd, 1) Factor of Personal Desire, 2) Factor of Comfortable Exploration, and the third factor is 3) Factor of Location and Facility. Factor of Personal Desire is a form factor of Self-fulfillment, prestige, Social Interaction, and Wish Fulfillment is the most dominant factor with eigenvalue of 2.970.
