Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan kerjasama peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh metode pembelajaran quiz team terhadap keterampilan kerjasama peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain “time series design”dengan pola sebelum dan sesudah yang masing- masing dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali serta dilakukan treatment pada satu kelas yaitu kelas VII 1 yang diindikasi ditemukan permasalahan yaitu ketidakmampuan peserta didik dalam keterampilan kerjasama yang sangat rendah terlihat pada saat diberikan tugas kelompok oleh Guru IPS peserta didik tidak mengerjakan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan (purposive sample).Pengumpulan data keterampilan kerjasama peserta didik menggunakan angket. Setelah data terkumpul, kemudian dilakukan analisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji hipotesis atau Uji- t. Diperoleh hasil analisis antara pengukuran pertama dan kedua sebelum diberikannya treatment menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan antara keduanya. Hal yang sama juga terjadi pada saat setelah di berikannya treatment pada pengukuran pertama dan kedua. Namun terdapat perbedaan keterampilan kerjasama peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya treatment. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan penelitian yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran metode quiz team dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kerjasama peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS. ..... This research is based on the low cooperation skill of the students at SMPN 1 Bandung. This research aimed to examine the effect of Quiz Team learning method on the students’ cooperation skill in Social Studies learning at SMPN 1 Bandung. This research used quasi-experimental mAethod by time series design with before and after pattern which was done two times each and a treatment done in one class only namely class VII 1 that was indicated there was found a problem of the students’ inability in cooperation skill which was low, seen when they were given a group assignment by the Social Studies teacher but they didn’t do it. The sampling used purposive sample technique. The collection of the students’ cooperation skill data used a questionnaire. After the data collected, a quantitative analysis done through hypothesis testing or t-test. The result of the analysis between the first and the second measurement before the treatment given showed no difference between them. The same thing happened after the treatment given in the first and the second measurement. However, there was a difference in the students’ cooperation skill between before and after the treatment given. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of Quiz Team method learning model can improve the students’ cooperation skill in Social Studies learning.
