Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen asesmen persepsi visual bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan, untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu tahap I studi pendahuluan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, tahap II perancangan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta tahap III uji coba menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah guru kelas dan anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan ringan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan kuisioner. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data dan menyajikan hasil observasi dan wawancara, menghitung skor validasi serta skor reliabilitas dan hasil uji coba. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) produk yang dikembangkan berupa instrumen asesmen persepsi visual bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan dan bahan pegangan guru, dimensi-dimensi yang terdapat pada instrumen tersebut dikembangkan dari teori-teori yang telah ada (2) hasil uji validitas oleh ahli asesmen dan guru adalah instrumen layak untuk diuji cobakan ke lapangan. Hasil uji keterbacaan oleh guru adalah insturmen terbaca oleh guru, sedangkan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan reliabelitas perangkat tes tergolong memiliki reliabilitas tinggi dan layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah instrumen asesmen persepsi visual bagi anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan yang telah dikembangkan dapat dipergunakan di lapangan. ..... This research aim is to develop an instrument of visual perception assessment for children with intellectual disabilities, to achieve the objectives of the study researchers used a qualitative and quantitative approach. This study has three stages, stage I preliminary study use qualitative approach, stage II design that use qualitative and quantitative approach and stage III testing useg quantitative approach. Respondents from this study is teacher and children with mild intellectual disabilities. Techniques of data collection use observation, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. Analysis data of the research was done by describing the results of observations and interviews, calculating validation and reliability scores and the results of testing. The results of the study are (1) products that developed in the form is assessment’s instruments of visual perception for children with intellectual disabilities and teacher's grip material, the dimensions contained in the instrument are developed from existing theories (2) results from test validity of the assessment expert and the teacher is the instrument criteria feasible to be tested in the field and results from Reliability’s test by the teacher produces is the instrument criteria read by the teacher, while the calculation of reliability is can be concluded that the test device is classified as having high reliability and worthy of use. Based on the results of the trial it can be concluded that the visual perception assessment instrument for children with intellectual disabilities can be used in the field.
