Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul Pembelajaran Gitar Jazz Tingkat Pra-Basic di Venche Music School Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemilihan materi pembelajaran, teknik-teknik yang dipelajari dan hasil Pembelajaran Gitar Jazz Tingkat Pra-Basic. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran gitar jazz tingkat pra-basic di Venche Music School Bandung. Dilaksanakannya penelitian ini karena Venche Music School menyediakan pembelajaran gitar jazz tingkat pra-basic. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung pada saat pembelajaran, wawancara dengan guru gitar dan pemilik Venche Music School Bandung, dokumentasi berupa foto, rekaman audio dan rekaman visual yang berhubungan dengan rumusan penelitian. Setelah mengumpulkan data, dilakukan pengolahan data untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pemilihan materi pembelajaran, teknik yang dipelajari, dan hasil pembelajaran gitar jazz tingkat pra-basic di Venche Music School. Materi pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang sudah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Materi pembelajaran gitar jazz tingkat pra-basic mengadaptasi dari buku Yamaha Guitar Course Fundamentals. Teknik yang dipelajari merupakan teknik-teknik dasar dalam gitar yaitu teknik petikan apoyando dan tirando. Hasil pembelajaran gitar jazz tingkat pra-basic yaitu memberikan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dasar bermain gitar, serta mempersiapkan dan membekali siswa dengan materi dan teknik yang tepat agar siswa mampu mempelajari gitar jazz pada tingkat selanjutnya. Kata Kunci: Gitar Jazz, Pra-Basic   ABSTRACT This study entitled “Jazz Guitar Learning for Pre-Basic in Bandung Venche Music School” which aims to explain and describe about learning materials, techniques learning and learning outcomes from jazz guitar learning for pre-basic. The focus of this study are to explain and describe about guitar jazz learning for pre-basic in Bandung Venche Music School. The reason of this study is because there just Venche Music School can provide guitar jazz learning from pre-basic. To answer all of the research question, need to collected all data through descriptive analytic method with qualitative approach. Also, the data were collected through observation, interviews with the teacher and owner of Venche Music School, photos, audio and video recorded. After the data has been collected, need to processing the data, then analysis the data to explain about learning materials, techniques learning and learning outcomes from jazz guitar learning for pre-basic in Bandung Venche Music School. Learning materials adjusted with learning objectives. The learning materials of jazz guitar learning for pre-basic adopted by Yamaha Guitar Course Fundamentals Book. The techniques learning by the student between apoyando technique and tirando technique. Learning outcomes of this jazz guitar learning for pre-basic are gave a knowledge and ability to playing guitar, also to prepare the student with learning materials and good techniques for playing guitar jazz for next grade.
