Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi temuan hasil observasi di kelas VIII-I SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung, peneliti menemukan masalah kurangnya rasa cinta tanah air pada siswa. Hal tersebut terlihat dari tidak melakukan upacara, penggunaan bahasa kurang baik, dan terdapat gambar Youtuber di bawah lambang Garuda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan rasa cinta tanah air pada siswa melalui pemanfaatan tayangan My Trip My Adventure. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu desain model Kemmis Taggart dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII-I SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung yang berjumlah 39 orang. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan desain Kemmis Taggart dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus, yang terdiri dari 2 tindakan, dengan tahapan 1) perencanaan (plan), 2) pelaksanaan (act), 3) observasi (observation), dan 4) refleksi (reflection). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, angket, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perencanaan pembelajaran sudah dilakukan dengan baik, pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga dengan dapat dikatakan berhasil. Adapun peningkatan rasa cinta tanah air siswa dilihat dari peningkatan indikator rasa cinta tanah air yang meningkat pada setiap siklus, diantaranya mampu berbicara dengan baik, menghargai jasa pahlawan, menggunakan produk dalam negeri, mengunjungi destinasi wisata dalam negeri, dan bangga bertanah air Indonesia. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, pemanfaatan tayangan My Trip My Adventure dapat meningkatkan rasa cinta tanah air siswa di kelas VIII I SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung. ABSTRACT This research is conducted based on the observation result found in VIII-I class of SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung, the researcher found out that the students were lack of patriotism. It can be seen from the students’ behaviour by not participating in flag ceremony, using inappropriate language, and having a picture of Youtuber under Garuda as the national emblem. This research aimed to increase students’ patriotism through the utilization of My Trip My Adventure show program. The research method used was Kemmis Taggart model design. The subject of the research was 39 eighth grade students from VIII-I class of SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung. Classroom Action Research with Kemmis Taggart design was conducted in three cycles which consists of two actions. The stages are 1) plan, 2) act, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The data collection techniques employed in this study were observation sheet, field notes, questionnaire, and document analysis. Based on the findings, it was revealed that the lesson planning of this study had been well-implemented. In addition, the improvement of students’ patriotism could be identified in patriotism indicator that was increasing in each cycle. For instance, the students could speak using the appropriate language, pay honour to the fallen heroes, use local products, visit the domestic tourist destination, and proud of their own country Indonesia. It can be concluded that the utilization of My Trip My Adventure show program could increase students’ patriotism in class VIII I of SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung.
