    Abstract

    Latar belakang penelitian ini membahas beberapa masalah yang
    dialami yaitu kurangnya kemampuan siswa XI KPU-2 SMK Negeri 12
    Bandung taun ajar 2018/2019 terhadap tehnik vokal dan ekspresi
    kawih Sunda klasik dan pop, siswa juga lebih hapal dan paham lagu-
    lagu luar dibandingkan kawih Sunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
    mendeskripsikan kemampuan ngawih siswa sebelum dan sesudah
    menggunakan model pembelajaran Explicit Intruction dalam
    pembelajaran kawih. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu
    studi kuasi eksperimen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas XI
    KPU-2 SMK Negeri 12 Bandung yang jumlahnya 34 siswa. Data yang
    sudah diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis t-test. Berdasarkan
    hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, rata-rata hasil belajar
    ngawih Sunda klasik dan pop siswa kelas XI KPU-2 sebelum
    menggunakan modél Explicit Intruction (30,14) yang membuktikan
    bahwa siswa belum mampu ngawih, sedangkan rata-rata setelah
    menggunakan modé Explicit Intruction adalah (75,88) siswa sudah
    mampu ngaih. Setelah dilaksanakan analisis t-test diperoleh harga
    t hitung t tabel adalah 1,470 1,127 yang berarti hiotesis alternatif (H a )
    diterima dan hipotesis nol (H o ) ditolak. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan
    yang signifikan kemampuan ngawih Sunda klasik dan pop siswa kelas
    XI KPU-2 SMK Negeri 12 Bandung tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sebelum
    dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Explicit Intruction.
    The background of this study discusses some of the problems
    experienced, namely, the lack of ability of the XI KPU-2 of SMK
    Negeri 12 Bandung in 2018/2019 classical and pop kawih vocal and
    expression techniques, students are also more familiar with and
    understand outside songs than kawih Sunda. research was conducted
    in order to have a purpose to describe the ability of students to answer
    before and after using the learning model Explicit Intruction in
    learning kawih. The method used in the study was quasi-experimental
    studies. The subjects in this study were 11th grade students of KPU-2
    Vocational High School in Bandung whose numbers were 34 students.
    Data that has been obtained is analyzed using t-test analysis. Based
    on the results of the research that has been carried out, the average
    non-Sundanese classical and pop learning outcomes of class XI KPU-
    2 students before using the mode explicit explicit (30.14) which proves
    that students have not been able to be exhausted, while the average
    after using mode Explicit Intruction is (75.88) students are able to
    learn. After the t-test analysis was carried out, it was found that the t
    count> t table was 1.470> 1.127 which means the alternative
    hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was
    rejected. That is, there is a significant difference in the absurd ability
    of classical Sundanese and pop students of class XI KPU-2 of SMK
    Negeri 12 Bandung in 2018/2019 academic year before and after
    using the Explicit Intruction learning model.
