Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang dilihat dari banyaknya siswa yang memiliki hasil belajar dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri Kota Bandung Wilayah B. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar dengan moderator lingkungan sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei eksplanatori. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri Bandung Wilayah B sebanyak 271 siswa dengan pengambilan sampel jenuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi berganda dengan variabel mediasi dan analisis regresi berganda dengan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan variabel moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) motivasi belajar berpengaruh memediasi kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar (2) lingkungan sekolah memoderasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar (3) lingkungan sekolah tidak memoderasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap motivasi belajar dan (4) lingkungan sekolah memoderasi pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Temuan memberikan implikasi bahwa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dapat melalui peningkatan kecerdasan emosional, motivasi belajar serta didukung dengan lingkungan sekolah yang baik. The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes seen from the number of students who have learning outcomes under the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) in Economics subjects in class XI IPS students of SMA Negeri Bandung Bandung Region B. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and learning motivation towards learning outcomes by moderating the school environment. The research method used is explanatory survey. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS Bandung Region B Senior High School as many as 271 students with saturated sampling. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with mediating variables and multiple regression analysis with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with moderating variables. The results showed that (1) learning motivation has an effect on mediating emotional intelligence on learning outcomes (2) the school environment moderates the influence of emotional intelligence on learning outcomes (3) the school environment does not moderate the effect of emotional intelligence on learning motivation and (4) the school environment moderates the influence of motivation learning towards learning outcomes. The finding gives an implication that on improve learning outcomes in economic subjects can be through increased emotional intelligence, learning motivation and supported by a good school environment.
