Abstract

SMK/MAK sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal bertujuan menciptakan tenaga kerja yang kompeten dibidangnya. Salah satu langkah untuk mencapai tujuan itu pemerintah membuat program Uji Kompetensi Keahlian (UKK) yang diselenggarakan oleh masing-masing Sekolah. Kesiapan Sekolah dalam melaksanakan UKK meliputi administrasi, sarana prasarana, dan penguji UKK. SMKN 2 Cimahi baru pertama kali melaksanakan UKK pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada kesiapan SMKN 2 Cimahi dalam melaksanakan UKK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang didapat merupkan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di SMKN 2 Cimahi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa SMKN 2 Cimahi memilih UKK Mandiri sebagai mekanisme dalam melaksanakan UKK. Sarana prasarana sekolah dikategorikan sangat siap khususnya pada paket soal 1 (handel pemutar), paket soal 3 (Rumah Tap), dan paket soal 4 (Box CNC). Dari 6 penguji (5 penguji internal dan 1 penguji eksternal) yang disiapkan oleh sekolah terdapat 4 penguji internal dan satu penguji eksternal yang layak menjadi penguji UKK. ;--SMK/MAK as a formal education institution has the goal of creating a competent workforce in their field. One of the steps to achieve that goal is to create a Skills Competency Test (UKK) program organized by each school. School readiness in implementing UKK includes administration, infrastructure, and assesors of the UKK. SMKN 2 Cimahi for the first time implementing UKK at Mechanical Engineering Competency. This research focused on the readiness of SMKN 2 Cimahi in implementing the UKK. The research method used is descriptive observational method with a quantitative approach. The data obtained is the result of observations, interviews, and documentation carried out at SMKN 2 Cimahi. The results showed that SMKN 2 Cimahi has implement the UKK Mandiri as UKK mechanism. School infrastructure facilities are categorized as very ready, especially in package questions 1 (handle pemutar), package 3 (rumah tap), and package question 4 (box CNC). There are 4 internal assesors and one external assesor who are eligible as the assesors of the UKK from 6 assesors (5 internal assesor and 1 external assesor) prepared by the school.
