Abstract

Penelitiaan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada topik polimer melalui pembuatan squishy yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa pada tingkat SMA/MA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode educational design research. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah 3 orang dosen pendidikan kimia FPMIPA UPI, 2 orang guru kimia SMA, dan 20 orang siswa kelas XII di salah satu SMA swasta di kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar prosedur optimasi praktikum, lembar uji kelayakan LKS, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan tahap inkuiri, rubrik penilaian jawaban siswa pada LKS, dan lembar angket respon siswa. LKS praktikum disusun berdasarkan indikator keterampilan inkuiri dan kondisi optimum praktikum. Hasil optimasi prosedur pembuatan squishy adalah poliol sebanyak 8 gram, poliisosianat sebanyak 1,5 gram dan waktu pengadukan selama 15 detik. Hasil uji kelayakan dosen dan guru terhadap kesesuaian komponen dalam LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan dengan indikator keterampilan inkuiri, kesesuaian konsep, tata bahasa, serta tata letak dan perwajahan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil keterlaksanaan praktikum berdasarkan observasi keterlaksanaan tahap inkuiri termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik dan penilaian jawaban siswa pada LKS praktikum termasuk ke dalam kategori baik. Respon siswa terhadap LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik dan respon siswa terhadap praktikum menggunakan LKS praktikum yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kategori baik.;--This research aimed to produce a student lab worksheet based on a guided inquiry on the topic of a polymer through making a squishy that can be used by students at the senior high school. The research was conducted using an educational design research method. Participants in this research were 3 chemistry education lecturers at FPMIPA UPI, 2 chemistry teachers at senior high school, 20 students of 12th grade in private senior high school at Bandung. The instruments used in this research were optimization of experiment procedure sheet, feasibility sheets, observation of inquiry stages sheets in a small group implementation, assessment guidelines for student assignments, and student questionnaire responses sheets. The student lab worksheet was arranged according to indicator of inquiry skills and optimization result. The optimization result of experiment procedure for making squishy were 8 grams of polyol, 1.5 grams of polyisocyanate and 15 seconds of stirring time. The results of lecturers and teachers about feasibility to aspects of components suitability in student lab worksheet with indicators of inquiry skills, suitability of concepts, grammar, layout, and display were in an excellent category. The result of observation inquiry stages in a small group implementation was in an excellent category and the assessment result of student assignments was in a good category. The students' responses to the student lab worksheet were in an excellent category and student responses to the experiment were in a good category.
