Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya permasalahan perilaku menyimpang yang disebabkan oleh kelompok teman sebaya. Permasalahan remaja ini sudah menjadi persoalan yang begitu klasik. Banyak sekali remaja-remaja yang kerap melakukan perbuatan menyimpang dengan melanggar norma-norma yang ada di masyarakat dan pelanggaran-pelanggaran tata tertib yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran komunitas Warzo terhadap timbulnya sejumlah perilaku menyimpang yang terjadi pada siswa di SMA Negeri 20 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan penelitian terdiri dari siswa yang menjadi anggota komunitas Warzo, pihak sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) komunitas Warzo terbentuk lantaran kecenderungan remaja hidup berkelompok untuk menemukan jati dirinya (2) siswa yang tergabung ke dalam komunitas Warzo sering melakukan perilaku menyimpang baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah seperti halnya membolos, mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol, dan tawuran (3) remaja yang bergabung dengan komunitas Warzo cenderung melakukan hal-hal negatif dan menyimpang dikarenakan penyerapan nilai dan norma yang ada di dalam kelompoknya. ...... This research is motivated by the many deviant behavior problems caused by peer groups. This teen problem has become a classic problem. There are many teenagers who often commit deviant deeds by violating existing norms in society and the violations of discipline established by the school. This study aims to find out how the role of Warzo community towards the emergence of a number of deviant behaviors that occur in students in SMA Negeri 20 Bandung. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and case study methods. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies, while the data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The research informants consisted of students who were members of the Warzo community, the school staffs and society. These results indicate that (1) the community Warzo formed because of the tendency of adolescents to live in groups to find herself (2) students belonging to the community Warzo often deviant behavior both at school and outside of school as truant, consuming alcoholic beverages, and brawls (3) teenagers who join the community Warzo tend to do negative and deviant things due to the absorption of values and norms in the group.
