Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TREFFINGER BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS TEKS EKSPLANASI Trisnawati 1706533 Peneliti mengidentifikasi adanya permasalahan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa yang kurang terampil menciptakan teks eksplanasi karena sulit menemukan dan mengembangkan ide/gagasan, mengingat materi tersebut terdapat dalam kurikulum 2013 dan masih terdapat beberapa masalah terkait kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi sehingga diperlukan sebuah variasi model pembelajaran yang tepat dan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk menunjang berhasilnya pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran untuk mengatasi permasalahan menulis adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang mampu merangsang siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya saat menulis. Model pembelajaran treffinger merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang menangani masalah kreativitas secara langsung. Dengan melibatkan keterampilan kognitif maupun afektif pada tingkat I: basic tools, tingkat II: practice with process, dan tingkat III: working with real problem dari model ini. Model pembelajaran treffinger menunjukkan hubungan dan ketergantungan antara keduanya dalam mendorong proses belajar kreatif. Tingkatan pelaksanaan tersebut akan disesuaikan dengan multimedia interaktif yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, angket, observasi, dan tes. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini mencakup (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perancangan model, (3) pengembangan model hingga menghasilkan produk berupa draf final. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas dan luas yang dilaksanakan di tiga sekolah di Kota Bandung, pelaksanaan penelitian ini terbukti memberikan hasil yang positif terhadap peningkatan nilai hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dengan rerata nilai siswa. Berdasarkan hasil angket respons guru dan siswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran, maka model pembealajaran treffinger berbantuan multimedia interaktif dinyatakan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu inovasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran treffinger, multimedia interaktif, teks eksplanasi ABSTRACT TREFFINGER LEARNING MODEL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTED BY INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA IN LEARNING OF WRITING EXPLANATION TEXT Trisnawati 1706533 The researcher identified problems in learning to write explanatory texts. This research is directed to improve the ability of students who are less skilled at creating explanatory texts because it is difficult to find and develop ideas, bearing in mind that the material is contained in the 2013 curriculum and there are still some problems related to the ability to write explanatory texts thus a variety of appropriate learning models and utilizing technology is needed to support the success of learning. One learning model for overcoming writing problems is by applying a learning model that is able to stimulate students to develop their creative thinking abilities when writing. Treffinger learning model is one of the learning models that deals directly with the problem of creativity. By involving cognitive and affective skills at level I: basic tools, level II: practice with process, and level III: working with real problems of this model. Treffinger learning model shows the relationship and dependence between the two in encouraging creative learning processes. The level of implementation will be adjusted to the interactive multimedia used. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method. Data collection techniques were done through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and tests. The implementation of this research includes (1) preliminary studies, (2) model design, (3) model development to produce products in the form of final drafts. Based on the results of limited and extensive trials conducted in three schools in the city of Bandung, the implementation of this study proved to provide positive results on improving the value of student learning outcomes as evidenced by the average student grades. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students to the implementation of learning, the interactive multimedia-assisted treffinger learning model can be used as an innovation in learning to write explanatory texts.
