Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya tingkat kinerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adalah pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian terdapat dua variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu pertama kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang diukur oleh indikator (1) Instruksi; (2) Konsultasi; (3) Partisipasi dan (5) Delegasi. Variabel yang kedua adalah kinerja guru yang diukur oleh indikator (1) Kualitas Kerja; (2) Ketetapan Kerja; (3) Inisiatif dalam Kerja; (4) Kemampuan Kerja dan (5) Komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui komunikasi tidak langsung dan alat pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket model likert yang dimodifikasi. Sampel berjumlah 99 orang guru. Teknik analisis yang digunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. ;---The problem studied in this research is still low level of teacher performance. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of headmaster leadership on teacher performance. There are two variables in this research that is first principal leadership that measured by indicator (1) Instruction; (2) Consultation; (3) Participation and (5) Delegation. The second variable is teachers performance that measured by indicators (1) Quality of Work; (2) Provision of Work; (3) Initiatives in Work; (4) Work Ability and (5) Communication. This research used survey method along with likert questionnaires and indirect communication as the data collection techniques. 99 teachers were chosen as the sample for this research. The data of this research was analyszed with sample regression analysis. The results of this study show that the principal leadership has positive and significant influence on teachers performance.
