Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis literasi kesehatan siswa kelas XI di Ciamis pada pembelajaran sistem respirasi dan sistem reproduksi manusia dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest design. Sampel terdiri dari 65 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah soal pengetahuan, kuesioner sikap dan perilaku serta lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Semua data penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan analisis literasi kesehatan menurut McBeth, n-gain, normalitas, homogenitas, Mann Whitney dan uji T melalui SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi kesehatan siswa sebelum pembelajaran berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan setelah pembelajaran didapatkan bahwa literasi kesehatan siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil posttest. Aktivitas belajar siswa dalam problem based learning terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Selain itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat keterkaitan antara literasi kesehatan siswa dengan gender, akan tetapi siswa perempuan memiliki nilai literasi kesehatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai literasi kesehatan siswa laki-laki.---The aim of this study is analyzing the health literacy of second year students in Ciamis in the subject material of respiration and reproduction human system by conducting Problem Based Learning approach. The method used in this study is quasi experiment, consist of one group pretest – posttest design. The sample of the study consist of 65 respondents has chosen by purposive sampling. This study has observed about a knowledge, attitude and behavior, additionally, observation sheet of students’ activities. The gathered data tested using an analyzing of health literacy based on McBEth, n-gain, normality, homogeneity, Mann Whitney and T-test on SPSS 22. The result of the study proposes that students’ health literacy before the education is on the middle level meanwhile, after the education the result shows that the position is on the high level. The result of the study shows that Problem Based Learning approach has influenced significantly on the result of posttest. In addition, the students’ activity was implemented well. Besides, the result of the study claims that there is no correlation between students’ health literacy and gender, in contrast, the female students show that their health literacy is higher than the male students’.
