Abstract

Prestasi merupakan salah satu kebutuhan manusia yang harus dipenuhi. Bimbingan klasikal merupakan salah satu langkah untuk membantu meningkatkan siswa mencapai suatu prestasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran efektivitas bimbingan klasikal untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas XII IIS 1 MAN Purwakarta. Penelitian dilakukan agar siswa menyadari dan mampu melakukan kegiatan yang mendukung untuk mencapai prestasi. Adapun metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain menggunakan model non equivalent control group design, kelompok ekperimen kelas XII IIS 1 dan kelompok kontrol kelas XII IIS 3. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen yaitu tes tertulis dan observasi. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan uji validitas, reabilitas yang dilakukan oleh LPPB UPI Bandung yaitu dengan inventori motivasi berprestasi dan hasil uji Hipotesis (uji t). Hasil penelitian menunjukan berdasarkan pengolahan data menggunakan inventori motif berprestasi dari pre test = 37 berada pada kategori rendah dan hasil post test = 54 berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil menunjukan ada kenaikan sebesar 17. Hasil pengujian statistik menggunakan uji hipotesis (uji t) menunjukan hasil yang signifikan (sig) 0,000 (p < 0,05). Maka dapat disimpulkan H1 diterima, yang artinya “Bimbingan klasikal efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Semoga dapat menjadi bahan untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa di MAN Purwakarta dan menjadi acuan bagi penelitian selanjutnya.---One of human needs that should be accomplished is achievement. Classical guidance is one of efforts to enhance students achievement. This study was aimed to gain a figure of the effectiveness of classical guidance to enhance student achievement motivation in the seventh grader of MAN Purwakarta. The study was conducted to make students to realize and be able to perform activities that support achievement. This study employed a quasi-experiment method with the non-equivalent control group design, placing Class XII IIS 1 as the experiment group and the Class XII IIS 3 as the control group. The data collection technique is done troth instrument tahat is written test and observation. The data processing method using the validity test, the reability mede by the LPPB UPI Bandung is with the inventory of achievement motivation and Hypothesis test results (t test). With Based on the data processing, the results show that achievement motivation from the pretest is 37, which is in low category; and the posttests is 54, which is in middle category. The result show that there is an increase of 17 points. The result of statistical test using hypotessis test (t test) showed signification result (sig) 0.000 (p <0,05). Hence it can be concluded H1 accepted, It means that the classical guidance is effective to enhance student achievement motivation. This study is expected to be the material to enhance student achievement motivation in MAN Purwakarta; and can be reference for next studies.
