    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tipe kepribadian terhadap perilaku inovatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 350 pelaku industri kreatif di bidang fashion. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah Big Five Inventory (BFI), dan Innovative Behaviour Scale (IBS). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa (1) dari lima tipe kepribadian hanya tipe kepribadian openess to experience yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku inovatif, (2) sementara untuk tipe kepribadian extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, dan conscientiousness tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku inovatif pada pelaku industri kreatif di Kota Bandung. Rekomendasi yang ingin penelti berikan untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah memperhatikan subjek penelitian dan melakukan pembahasan mengenai data demografi dari subjek yang dijadikan penelitian. ;---This study aimed to determine the influence of personality type on innovative behavior. This study used quantitative approach with regression analysis. The sample in this study amounted to 350 creative industry performer in the field of fashion. The instruments of this research are Big Five Inventory (BFI), and Innovative Behavior Scale (IBS). The results show that (1) out of five personality types only openess to experience have an influence on innovative behavior, (2) while for extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, and conscientiousness have no effect on innovative behavior on creative industry players in Bandung. Recommendations for future this research is to concern more about the subject and conduct a discussion of the demographic data of the subject.
