Abstract

Penelitian berjudul “Kajian Bandingan Struktur dan Nilai Sosial Novel Boulevard de Clichy Karya Remy Sylado Dengan Novel Les Miserables Karya Victor Hugo Serta Pemanfaatannya Sebagai Alternatif Buku Pengayaan Teks Ulasan Di SMA” ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya bahan ajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk(1) membandingkan struktur novel Boulevard de Clichy karya Remy Sylado dan Les Miserables karya Victor Hugo, (2) mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam novel Boulevard de Clichy karya Remy Sylado dan Les Miserables karya Victor Hugo,(3) mendeskripsikan persamaaan dan perbedaan struktur dan nilai sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Boulevard de Clichy karya Remy Sylado dan Les Miserables karya Victor Hugo, (4) menyajikan buku pengayaan teks ulasan di SMA berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini. Objek penelitian ini adalah novel Boulevard de Clichy dan novel Les Miserables Sementara itu, melalui paradigma penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis komparatif dan pendekatan objektif yang di dasarkan pada karya sastra itu sendiri. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti mengggunakan analisis stuktur dari Stanton, analisis semiotik dari Todorov, analisis nilai sosial dari Zubaedi. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa novel Boulevard de Clichy dan novel Les Miserables memiliki persamaan dan perbedaan secara struktural dan nilai-nilai sosialnya. Semua unsur merupakan satu kesatuan utuh. Begitu pula dalam hal nilai sosial yang membangun novel berhubungan erat dengan tiga masalah dasar kehidupan manusia, yaitu kasih sayang, tanggung jawab, dan keserasian hidup. Hasil kajian bandingan kedua novel dapat digunakan sebagai buku pengayaan teks ulasan novel di SMA. Hal itu sesuai dengan tujuan satuan pendidikan kurikulum 2013 yaitu mengembangkan keseimbangan antara pengembangan sikap spiritual dan sosial, rasa ingin tahu, kreativitas, kerja sama dengan kemampuan intelektual dan psikomotorik.;---This research paper is about "A Comparative Study of the Structure and Social Value of Boulevard de Clichy Novel by Remy Sylado With Les Miserables Novel by Victor Hugo And Its Utilization As an Alternative Enrichment Book of Review Text in Senior High School" is based on the lack of interesting and enjoyable teaching materials for students. This research aims to (1) Compare the structure of Boulevard de Clichy's novel by Remy Sylado and Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, (2) Describe the social values contained in the novel of Boulevard de Clichy by Remy Sylado and Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, (3) Describe the similarities and differences in the structure and social values contained in the novel of Boulevard de Clichy by Remy Sylado and Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, (4) present an enrichment book of review text in Senior High School based on the findings and discussion of this research. The objects of this research are Boulevard de Clichy Novel and Les Miserables Novel. Meanwhile, through qualitative research paradigm, this research is done by using descriptive method of comparative analysis and objective approach which is based on the literary work itself. In analyzing the data, this research used structure analysis from Stanton, semiotic analysis from Todorov and social value analysis from Zubaedi. The results showed that Boulevard de Clichy Novel and Les Miserables Novel have similarities and differences in structure and social values. All elements are one unified whole. Similarly, in terms of social values that build a novel closely related to the three basic problems of human life, affection, responsibility, and harmony of life. The results of the second novel's comparative study can be used as an enrichment book of review text in senior high school. This is in line with the aims of the 2013 curriculum education unit that is to develop a balance between the development of spiritual and social attitudes, curiosity, creativity, cooperation with intellectual and psychomotor skills.
