Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan tentang nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam Tari Gending Sriwijaya, dan implementasinya sebagai penguatan nilai moral dalam pembelajaran tari di SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. Penguatan nilai moral ini sangat penting dilakukan untuk menyadarkan siswa akan identitas kemelayuannya, agar tidak terpengaruh oleh kemunduran moral yang terjadi di lingkungan sehari-hari siswa, seperti tawuran dan perkelahian. Tari Gending Sriwijaya dianalisis menggunakan etnokoreologi dibantu dengan teori folklor, sedangkan penguatan nilai moral di sekolah diimplementasikan melalui metode CTL, sesuai dengan metode penelitian action research yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi di dalam siklusnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix methods. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan angket. Untuk analisis data kualitatif menggunakan teknik triangulasi, sedangkan analisis data kuantitatif dengan melihat tingkat keberhasilan siswa dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil analisis Tari Gending Sriwijaya, sesuai dengan syair lagu Gending Sriwijaya, gerak tarinya, dan tunjuk ajar Melayu, menghasilkan nilai moral toleransi dan tanggung jawab. Nilai moral toleransi terkandung dalam ragam gerak sembah, gerak tutur sabda, dan ulur benang, sedangkan nilai moral tanggung jawab, terkandung dalam ragam gerak tolak arus, siguntang mahameru, gerak tabur, dan borobudur. Selanjutnya nilai moral yang telah didapat tersebut, dikuatkan melalui pembelajaran di kelas VII.10 SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau dalam 3 siklus 6 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian melaporkan, penguatan nilai moral toleransi dan tanggung jawab di kelas VII.10 SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau, menunjukkan perubahan dan peningkatan yang signifikan dari kemampuan afektif siswa. ABSTRACT This study discuss about moral values which are in the Gending Sriwijaya Dance, and its implementation as a reinforcement of moral value in learning dance at SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The reinforcement of moral value is very important to do in order to make students aware of its malignancy identity. So that, students are not involved in moral decline at their school environment, such as fighting and brawling. Gending Sriwijaya was analyzed using ethnocoreology assisted by folklore theory, but moral value reinforcement at school was applied through CTL method, in accordance with action research method consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The present study used mix methods approach. Data collection technique consists of observation, interview, documentation study, and questionnaire. The analysis of qualitative data used triangulation, but the analysis of quantitative data was done by seeing students’ success in the percentage form. Analysis result of Gending Sriwijaya’s Dance, in accordance with Gending Sriwijaya’s song poetry, its dance motion, and Malay’s nature, obtained the values of tolerance and responsibility. Tolerance value contains in variation of sembah movement, tutur sabda movement, and ulur benang, but the value of responsibility contains in variation of tolak arus movement, siguntang mahameru, tabur movement, and borobudur. Those moral values were reinforced through the learning process at class VII.10 SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau, in the 3 cycles (6 meeting). The finding reveals that moral value reinforcement tolerance and responsibility at class VII.10 SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau shows a significant change and improvement seen from students’ affective aspect.
