Abstract

Anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan yang memiliki intelegensi dibawah rata-rata mengalami dampak yang beragam. Salah satu dampak tersebut adalah hambatan akademik diantaranya membaca, menulis maupun berhitung. Pada kasus penelitian ditemukan anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan yang mengalami hambatan dalam menulis. Anak belum mampu membuat garis maupun bidang sederhana. Hal tersebut menjadi dasar peneliti untuk memberikan intervensi dalam bidang menulis karena tanpa menulis anak terhambat dalam proses belajarnya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti adalah metode kuantitatif dengan Single Subject Research (SSR). Proses penelitian Single Subject Research (SSR) dimulai dari meninjau kemampuan awal anak yang disebut baseline-1 (A-1) lalu saat data yang diperoleh sudah stabil dilanjutkan pada tahap intervensi (B. Tahap terakhir jika subjek penelitian sudah ada kemampuan yang meningkat dan stabil dilanjutkam pada tahap baseline-2 (A-2). Sebelum anak diajarkan menulis maka patut ditinjau ulang kemampuan anak dari kemampuan pra menulis. Pra menulis merupakan suatu tahap untuk siap menulis. Aktivitas-aktivitas dalam pra menulis diantaranya kesiapan dalam aspek memahami orientasi arah, motorik halus maupun koordinasi mata dan tangan. Peneliti menggunakan keterampilan scrapbook untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan di SLB Asih Manunggal. Scrapboook merupakan suatu karya seni menghias suatu buku atau album biasanya digunakan untuk mengabadikan momen. Pada scrapbook terdiri dari serangkaian aktivitas yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan pra menulis seperti menempel, menggunting, meremas, dan merobek. Setelah dilakukan intervensi melalui keterampilan scrapbook terdapat peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam kemampuan pra menulis dalam aspek pemahaman orientasi arah, motorik halus dan koordinasi mata dan tangan;--- Children with intellectual disability, which have bellow average intelligence. One of impact to academic skill is,reading writing and counting. Case on observations, children with intellectual disability have detention to writing as well.. Children with detention cant even yet to draw a line or create a simple tract. It becomes the basis of observations to provide interventions in the matters of writing, because without writing a children hampered in the learning Observation methods conducted by observer is quantitave methods with Single Subject Research (SSR). Observation procces Single Subject Research (SSR) starting from reviewing the children initial ablity called baseline-1 (A-1) then when data have been stablized resumed at the intervention stage (B). The last stage, if the subject of observations ability has been improved and stable it will continue to stage baseline-2 (A-2). Before the children has been thaught to write, then its appropriate to reviewing the children ability of pre-writing skill. Pre-writing is a stage for preparing writing. Activities in pre-writing include readiness of understanding aspects of orientation of direction, motorik sensor or eye and hand coordination Observer use scrapbook skill to improves the pre-writing ability of children with intellectual disability. Scrapbook is an artwork to decorate a book or album, its usually used to capture a moment. The scrapbook consists of a series of activities that can develop pre-writing skills such as sticking, cutting, squeezing, and tearing. After intervention through scrapbook skills and there is an ability improvement in the child pre-writing skills in terms of understanding of instruction orientation of direction, motoric sensor, eye and hand coordination.
