Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar SDN SRM dalam keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Hal ini disebabkan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran hanya dengan metode ceramah dan tidak menggunakan mmultimedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan multimedia untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar SRM. Metode yang di gunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Tindakan dilakukan dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahap kegiatan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus I sebesar 75.5 dengan ketuntasan belajar 71%. Pada siklus II rata-rata nilai mengalami peningkatan menjadi 87 dengan ketuntasan belajar 100%. Berdasarkan data diatas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. ;---This research is motivated by the difficulties of secondary school students of SDN SRM in writing skill of the beginning of second grade students of elementary school. This is due to the teacher implementing learning only by lecture method and not using mmultimedia. This study aims to describe the use of multimedia to improve the writing skill of the beginning of second grade students of SRM primary school. The method used is classroom action research method (PTK) model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Action is done two cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages of activity are: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the average value of the class in the first cycle of 75.5 with learning completeness 71%. In cycle II the average value increased to 87 with 100% complete learning. Based on the above data, it can be concluded that the use of multimedia in learning can improve the skills to write the beginning of grade II elementary school.
