Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari hasil penelitian ini adalah dapat mensimulasikan sistem antrian pembayaran (kasir) di supermarket menggunakan aplikasi berbasis desktop (java). Desain penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tahap studi literatur, implementasi metode, pengolahan aplikasi, uji coba, dan proses dokumentasi. Penelitian dimulai dengan cara mencari informasi, penelitian terkait, dan metode-metode yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Informasi-informasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori simulasi, teori antrian, pembangkit bilangan acak berdistribusi poisson dan berdistribusi eksponensial, dan cara membuat aplikasi berbasis java desktop. Aplikasi simulasi antrian pembayaran supermarket. Aplikasi ini berfungsi untuk mensimulasikan antrian yang terjadi di supermarket. Input berupa rata-rata kedatangan pelanggan, rata-rata lama pelanggan berbelanja, dan rata-rata lama kasir melayani proses pembayaran. Secara umum, kondisi atau asumsi yang berlaku untuk model antrian adalah tingkat kedatangan menurut distribusi poisson, waktu pelayanan diasumsikan mengikuti distribusi eksponensial, yang datang lebih dahulu harus memperoleh pelayanan lebih dahulu (first in first out). Model antrian pada supermarket yang mempunyai beberapa kasir atau tempat pembayaran adalah multi channel single server (banyak jalur dan satu tahap pelayanan). Kata Kunci: Simulasi, Antrian, Distribusi Poisson, Distribusi Eksponensial, Supermarket The purpose of this research is to simulate the queuing system of payment (cashier) in the supermarket using desktop-based applications (java). The research design includes literature study phase, implementation methods, application processing, testing, and documentation process. The study began by looking for information, related research, and methods related to the research. The information used in this study is the simulation theory, queuing theory, the Poisson distribution random number generator and exponential distribution, and how to create a Java-based desktop applications. The application of payment queuing system simulation in supermarket. This application serves to simulate the queue happens in the supermarket. The input is the average of customer arrival, the average time customers shop, and the average time cashiers serve the payment process. In general, conditions or assumptions that apply to the queuing model is the arrival rate according to the Poisson distribution, service time is assumed to follow an exponential distribution, the people who came first must got the service first (first in first out). The queuing model of a supermarket which has some cashier or place of payment is a multi-channel single server (many paths and one stage of service).
