Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh asumsi yang menyatakan bahwa orientasi tujuan belajar mempengaruhi proses belajar peserta didik dilihat dari strategi yang digunakan. Orientasi tujuan belajar performance yang mengutamakan penilaian relatif terhadap pencapaian prestasi dari orang lain seringkali membuat peserta didik terpancing untuk melakukan kecurangan akademik demi mendapatkan nilai yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripskan perbedaan sikap terhadap kecurangan akademik berdasarkan orientasi tujuan belajar peserta didik kelas VII, VIII, dan IX. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Lembang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode komparatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling dengan jumlah 301 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) secara umum peserta didik memiliki orientasi tujuan belajar mastery; (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan orientasi tujuan belajar yang signifikan antara peserta didik kelas VII, VIII, dan IX; (3) secara umum peserta didik memiliki sikap pembenaran terhadap kecurangan akademik; (4) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hal sikap terhadap kecurangan akademik antara peserta didik kelas VII, VIII, dan IX; (5) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hal sikap terhadap kecurangan akademik dilihat dari orientasi tujuan belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, guru BK diharapkan dapat memberikan layanan dasar untuk mengembangkan sikap menentang terhadap kecurangan akademik dan layanan responsif untuk mengembangkan orientasi tujuan belajar mastery bagi peserta didik yang memiliki orientasi tujuan belajar performance.;--- The background of this research based on the assumption that learning goal orientation influences the student learning process on strategy is used. Performance learning goal orientation with the relative assessment toward other reach of achievement, it often makes the students have academic cheating to get high score. This research has goal to give description about the difference of attitude toward academic cheating based on the learning goal orientation of VII, VIII, and IX grade student. The research conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Lembang, used quantity approach and comparative method. Number of sample determined by proportional stratified random sampling technique, there are 301 students. The result shown that: (1) commonly the students orient to mastery learning goal; (2) there is no the difference learning goal orientation signified among student grade VII, VIII, and IX; (3) commonly, the students have good image toward the academic cheating; (4) there is the difference attitude toward academic cheating signified among student grade VII, VIII, and IX; (5) there is the difference attitude toward academic cheating signified from the few of learning goal orientation. Based on the result, guidance and counseling teacher excepted to provide basic guidance to develop bad image toward the academic cheating and responsive guidance to develop mastery goal orientation for students who have performance learning goal orientation.
