Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil sikap siswa terhadap fisika dan perbandingan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran fisika dengan model Quantum Teaching menggunakan media visual berupa video, animasi, dan simulasi dibandingkan siswa yang mendapatkan model Quantum Teaching menggunakan media visual berupa gambar. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain randomized control group pretest – posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase sikap siswa terhadap fisika pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 68,47% yang termasuk kriteria baik dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 68,24% yang termasuk kriteria baik. Skor rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi <g> kemampuan kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,52 yang termasuk kriteria sedang dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,30 yang termasuk kriteria sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Quantum Teaching menggunakan media visual berupa video, animasi, dan simulasi menghasilkan sikap yang lebih baik terhadap fisika dibandingkan model Quantum Teaching menggunakan media visual berupa gambar. Berdasarkan uji beda rata-rata pada taraf kepercayaan 95%, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Quantum Teaching menggunakan media visual berupa video, animasi, dan simulasi secara signifikan dapat lebih meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa dibandingkan model Quantum Teaching menggunakan media visual berupa gambar.;--- The purpose of this study was to determine the profil of students attitude towards physics and the comparison between Quantum Teaching model using visual media such as video, animation, and simulation and Quantum Teaching model using visual media such as picture in improving students cognitive abilities. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental with randomized control group pretest - posttest design. The population were all of students in XI IPA grades in one of the senior high schools in Banjarnegara. The results showed that the percentage of students attitude toward physics in experiment class was 68,47% with good criteria and control class was 68,24% with good criteria. Average normalized gain scores <g> of cognitive abilities in experiment class was 0,52 with the medium criteria and control class was 0.30 with the medium criteria too. The results showed the implementation of Quantum Teaching model using visual media such as video, animation, and simulation produced a better attitude towards physics than Quantum Teaching model using visual media such as picture. Based on the different test of the average at 95% confidence level, the results of the study indicate that the Quantum Teaching model using visual media such as video, animation, and simulation more significantly improves students' cognitive abilities than Quantum Teaching model using visual media such as picture.
