Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran matematika di sekolah yang pada umumnya jarang menyertakan konteks unsur sosial dan budaya yang terdapat pada lingkungan di mana siswa berada. Padahal matematika akan lebih mudah dipahami apabila pembelajaran yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan konteks unsur sosial dan budaya yang terdapat pada lingkungan di mana siswa berada. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar materi himpunan dengan model penemuan terbimbing yang diintegrasikan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya di dalamnya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). (1) Tahap analysis yang meliputi (a) analisis kurikulum; (b) analisis hambatan belajar dan pembelajaran matematika; dan (c) analisis unsur sosial dan budaya yang ada di masyarakat yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam bahan ajar. (2) Tahap design meliputi perancangan format bahan ajar Lembar Kerja Siswa. (3) Tahap develop meliputi (a) pengembangan bahan ajar dari blue print format bahan ajar dan (b) validasi ahli. (4) Tahap implementation meliputi uji coba bahan ajar. (5) Tahap evaluation meliputi (a) refleksi implementasi dan (b) revisi bahan ajar. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah produk berupa bahan ajar LKS materi himpunan dengan model penemuan terbimbing berbasis etnomatematika untuk kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Leuwidamar Banten. Hasil dari penggunaan bahan ajar ini memberikan keunggulan dalam hal proses aktivitas pembelajaran, pengembangan kreativitas siswa dan motivasi belajar siswa. Terdapat juga kelemahan seperti dalam hal biaya dan waktu untuk penggunaan bahan ajar ini.;--- This research motivated by the mathematics learning process in school which generally rare to provide social and cultural contexts in the students' environtments. Whereas, mathematics would be easier to understand if the learning process related to the social and cultural contexts in the students' environtments. According to that case, this research aimed to develop the set's lessons teaching materials by guided-discovery model which integrated by social and cultural contexts in it. The research design used was the development of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). (1) Analysis stage included (a) curriculum analysis; (b) analysis of learning obstacles and mathematics learning process; and (c) analysis of social and cultural contexts of the people which could be integrated to the teaching materials. (2) Design stage included the worksheet as teaching materials format planning. (3) Develop stage included (a) the development of the teaching materials from blue print format teaching materials and (b) experts' validations. (4) Implementation stage included the teaching materials testing. (5) Evaluation stage included (a) implementation reflection and (b) teaching materials revision. The results of this research is the product of students' worksheet as teaching materials of the set's lessons with ethnomathematics-based-guided discovery for VII grade of SMP Negeri 1 Leuwidamar Banten. This teaching materials had special quality in learning process, develop student’s creativity, and increase student’s motivation in study. Besides that, this teaching materials had weakness in cost and time.
