Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan usaha Dodol Picnic Garut sebagai perusahaan keluarga jenis Family Business Enterprise (FBE) yang telah bertahan selama 67 tahun. Perkembangan usaha Dodol Picnic Garut ini dilihat dari 3 (tiga) aspek yaitu aspek ekonomi, aspek manajemen, dan aspek budaya organisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara dan observasi kepada PT. Herlinah Cipta Pratama yang memproduksi Dodol Garut. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengolahan data deskriptif dilengkapi dengan tabulasi silang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek ekonomi, permodalan yang dimiliki perusahaan berasal dari modal sendiri dan pinjaman, investasi dilakukan melalui penambahan unit usaha baru, tren tenaga kerja selama 10 tahun terakhir menurun. Namun dari segi volume produksi, pendapatan, dan laba trennya meningkat. Selain itu, aspek manajemen perusahan dikelola oleh keluarga dan perusahaan sangat memperhatikan kompetensi sumber daya manusia didalamnya. Jika dilihat dari aspek budaya organisasi, Dodol Picnic Garut berada pada kategori tinggi.;--- The aim of this research is to describe business development of Dodol Picnic Garut as a family business enterprise that has been survived for 67 years. The business development of Dodol Picnic Garut viewed by 3 (three) aspect: economy aspect, management aspect, and organizational culture. The methods that use in this research is descriptive research method and data was collected through questionnaire, interview, observation to PT. Herlinah Cipta Pratama as a company which produce Dodol Picnic Garut. The result of this research found that from economy aspect, capital of the company sourced from family and loan, investments made through the addition of new business units, the numbers of workers decrease, but volume of production, income and profit increasing from 10 years ago. Beside that, company’s management is manajed by family and they take an attention about human resources skill. In other hand, organizational culture at Dodol Picnic Garut include into highest category
