Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini dirancang untuk : (1) mengetahui penerapan metode mind map dalam mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan, (2) mengetahui pelaksanaan metode mind map dalam mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan, (3) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode mind map dan metode ceramah, diskusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang menggunakan konsep eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental design) dengan bentuk desain Non Equivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang yang mendapatkan mata pelajaran konstruksi bangunan sebanyak empat kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XB2 dan XB3 sebanyak 76 siswa. teknik sampling menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan strategi purposive. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara dokumentasi, tes pengetahuan, dan tes gambar. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa : (1) hasil uji –t pooled varian data post test thitung = 3.9125 > ttabel = 1.993. menunjukan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, (2) hasil uji –t pada ranah psikomotor membuktikan bahwa thitung= 0.785 < ttabel= 1.993, dapat diartikan pada ranah psikomotor, tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, (3) hasil uji –t untuk nilai gain posttest dan pretest didapat thitung= 3.43 > ftabel = 1.993. menunjukan data menolak H0 dan menerima H1 dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode mind map. Nilai indeks gain pada kelas eksperimen adalah 0.50 termasuk dalam klasifikasi gain ‘sedang’, nilai indeks gain pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0.28 termasuk dalam klasifikasi gain ‘rendah’. Selisih indeks gain antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0.2191 yang berada pada klasifikasi ‘rendah’. ;---The purpose of this study was designed to: (1) discover the application of the method of mind mapping in subjects building construction, (2) investigate the implementation methods of mind maps in the subjects of building construction, (3) knowing the improvement of student learning outcomes that using mind map and lecture , discussion. This study used an experimental method that uses the concept of a quasi-experimental (Quasi Experimental design) to design the shape of Non Equivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang who received a building construction subject as many as four classes. Samples were students in grade XB2 and XB3 as many as 76 students. sampling techniques using non-probability sampling technique with a purposive strategy. Data were collected by means of documentation, knowledge tests, and drawing test. The survey results revealed that : (1) test result –t pooled varian data post test thitung = 3.9125 > ttabel = 1.993. shows the average differences between the control class and experimental class. (2) test result –t on psychomotor prove that thitung= 0.785 < ttabel= 1.993, can be interpreted in psychomotor, there are no average difference between the control group and class experiment, (3) test result –t for gain posttest and pretest value obtained thitung= 3.43 > ftabel = 1.993. Data indicate reject H0 and accept H1 can thus be concluded, there is an increased learning outcomes in the experimental class by using a mind map. The index value gain in the experimental class is 0:50 included in the classification of the gain 'average', the index value of the gain in the control class is 0.28 included in the classification of the gain is 'low'. Gain index difference between the experimental class and control class is 0.2191 which is a classification of 'low'.
